I don't know how many of you have seen his performance in "Muhammad Ali Jinnah" but being a Pakistani I can tell you that no one could have done it better then Mr. Lee. I think this is how so many still remember Mr. Lee Cherish memories.
Sir Christopher Lee was brilliant in the movie "Jinnah". In fact, brilliant is a small word to praise such a wonderful and amazing actor. He won the hearts of all Pakistanis with his portrayal of Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah. As a Pakistani I would recommend all Sir Christopher Lee's fans to watch it. RIP Sir Lee.
his role in jinnah, wasnt shown that much in cinemas in pakistan but almost every pakistani loved the movie and sir christopher lee. but the movie has come into more light recently thanks to internet
It's a shame Christopher Lee's brilliant performance in Jinnah got so little attention worldwide, especially compared to the amount of attention received by Gandhi, which launched Ben Kingsley to stardom. Not too surprising though, since the historical figure Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself wasn't as famous as Mahatma Gandhi, despite both being important figures in the nonviolent Indian independence movement.
It was a brilliant film, and it saddens me that it got so little international attention. There are very few actors that I respect, Christopher Lee is on top of the list.
Jinnah is really undermined - not that he was any less than gandhi or anyone of that stature - he's just undervalued. Gandhi's more famous because of the gandhi statues standing tall in different parts of the world which were totally funded by Indian govts.
A true legend and gentleman. Lucky to have met him at his book signing. Read somewhere he loved to read Tolkiens' LOTR every year without fail. Now thats commitment! Rest in Peace
brilliant actor and person...All Pakistani feel very special sentiments toward Christopher lee because of his brilliant acting as our founder.....every fan of Christopher lee you should watch this movie....brilliant man played by brilliant actor :)
Great work sir Lee ... Being a Pakistani it's an honor for me that I watch you performing as Muhammad Ali Jinnah ... I believe that if I was born in that era quid will be just like you hats of to you sir ... Allah may bless you ... Pakistan Zindabad 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
I have watched JINNAH ,it s such a good movie and christopher lee perFormed extremely well as JINNAH ,i felt very bad knowing that this movie was not shown worldwide
@ hjmyfgyfhfkhfkuyghgu- You state : "Hes gotten so old, I feel sorry for him". You must be joking. The man is 91 yrs old here. In great shape, is sharp as a tack, articulate, total recall, funny, still commanding audiences , big pay checks, and appearing in major motion pictures. Whats to feel sorry for? If you or I make it to 91, we can only hope to have a 10th of what this remarkable man has done, is doing, and will continue to do. Christopher Lee is the BOMB!!!!
Reptilian yeah most people become completely senile around 60 and they live like the rest of their lives like a decoration plant in the living room. But I've notice those who use their brain in their daily work for problem solving, mental exercises or memorizing, remain just as fresh and quick witted as they were in the younger age. I'm amazed by his memory capacity. Though it makes me feel very sad that most likely we've seen him for the last time as Saruman.
The Wicker Man is one of my all time favourite movies..it was great to hear him mention it when asked about his favourite role. The remake of the movie starring Nic Cage was truly awful (in my personal opinion).
Goddamn, he is so wonderful. I'm not into the LotR stuff, but his autobio is one of the most interesting books I have ever read. Seriously. Bond villain, Sith Lord, Dracula, Opera singer, met Sigmund Freud, witnessed the last public execution in France, had his finger broken by Errol Flynn......just a fascinating man.
He's lived a very interesting life, and he shares his wit and his insights subtly; he preserve's his mystique because he loves his right to privacy. All the young primadonna narcissists of today's scene should watch and learn from the master.
you guys should have approved my comment, atleast give respect to Christopher Lee for what he said about Jinnah, the most important role that he himself says he has done.
in today's world of using young actors for for all important rolls, I am happy for the wisdom to bring the older more experience actors like lee to good roles again. Older actors are regulated to small bit parts or play mean people. I remember in a Holly Wood stunt man with Burt Renolds! an old cowboy actor who was famous in his time had a bit part as Burt and another actor called him an old fart, sad! The young actors of today have a long way to be a patch of Christopher lees Shirt as good actors with their over paid salaries.
Shashi Kapoor;Indian International Actor ;in his v.small role acted as good as Lee.Shashi Kapoor most impressive actor on both on&off movie sets of Bollywood;Hollywood&English His charming personality left even Hollywood Actors far behind. His English v.good & clear.
Saying one thing and acting upon it are two different things, "you are free in the Soviet Union, there exists socialism and democracy here!". However in reality things are not only quite different, but in fact exactly the opposite.
I don't know how many of you have seen his performance in "Muhammad Ali Jinnah" but being a Pakistani I can tell you that no one could have done it better then Mr. Lee. I think this is how so many still remember Mr. Lee Cherish memories.
He was absolutely great in it

What an incredibly intelligent, articulate man. I can listen to him for hours.

Helix the media which is used to promote films will never show Muslims and pakistanis in a positive light.
You are right
Jinnah is really undermined - not that he was any less than gandhi or anyone of that stature - he's just undervalued. Gandhi's more famous because of the gandhi statues standing tall in different parts of the world which were totally funded by Indian govts.
Jinnah was much more remarkable than Gandhi he was a genius .
Just saw JINNAH the movie honestly one of the best movies I have ever seen.
A true legend and gentleman. Lucky to have met him at his book signing.
Read somewhere he loved to read Tolkiens' LOTR every year without fail. Now thats commitment! Rest in Peace

Thanks for all those great and legendary roles!

After watching heaps if his videos I'm amazed how sharp his mind is and clear his memory is.

After playing the Role As Jinnah you became a hero of the pakistan nation... And as a Pakistani I would say you played it amazingly real like

I'm a big fan of Sir Christopher Lee and Richard Lintern for playing the role of Jinnah.
thank you Christopher Lee.
RIP, my dear Lord Summerisle. :(

he is amazing still as sharp and sounds the same as he did 40+ years ago . . .
Got a chance to see Jinnah. If you are a fan of Mr. Lee, it's a can't miss.
He's lived a very interesting life, and he shares his wit and his insights subtly; he preserve's his mystique because he loves his right to privacy. All the young primadonna narcissists of today's scene should watch and learn from the master.
Oh, man I wish I have met him...Dear Sir Knight Christopher Lee.
Christopher Lee , he is a true legend , no doubt about that
I liked his performance as Captain Zantor, in the Space:1999 ep, Earthbound. Great, as always.
you guys should have approved my comment, atleast give respect to Christopher Lee for what he said about Jinnah, the most important role that he himself says he has done.
HAPPY 90thBIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER LEE!!!!
"The most important thing I have ever done "
He acted with(late) legendary Indian Bollywood International Actor Shashi Kapoor in English Movie 'Jinha'
Jinnah*.

RIP LEGEND
I can see half Jinnah in him,
@ADyingFaith agreed he was awesome as count dooku
You pity a man who is praised where ever he goes and who has lived to see a very great age aswell! I wonder how you feel to the ordinary old person!
How does he keep his voice so strong? What is he, 80?
He was 90ish when this was recorded
All hail the great legend that is Christopher Lee!!!
christopher lee and his familys face faculty is how i misread the title ooooch im going senile
90 actually
Don't. He's had, and continues to have, a good life.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah died on September the 11th O.o
And born in 25th december
One of the best "Hmm"s in history?
Count dooku playing as mohammad ali jinnah. Well they both were separatists so the two are similar in that way. Wanting the freedom of their people
The Wicker Man was a classic horror film. A different kind of horror film. Christopher Lee did that film for nothing.
nicholas cage's wickerman was beneath dog shit indeed
Shashi Kapoor;Indian International Actor ;in his v.small role acted as good as Lee.Shashi
