I am sure you are impressed with Chris. My youngest son is learning disabled and a very high functioning individual. These special people brighten all our days. When we feel sorry for ourselves, they brighten our days and make them much better. Like the old story goes, I complained because I had no shoes and then I met someone who had no feet.

Sounds real good when shes hitting right. What size tires on Chris’s bike? Looks like a 26” mountain bike? I’d like to send him some new ones. Also I have some spare belts from 68 gto I’ll send him. If you can get me a size on his tires I’ll get them on the way. He might get a kick out of you doing a tire swap on video. Email: jpalmer86@verizon.net. A side not my best man was my uncle. He had severe cerebral palsy. He once said “ it could have been worse, I could have been born blind. I would never had seen my family”. God bless Chris. 👍

All of you dads with children with special needs are awesome! God bless with extra love and patience.
I’ve know more than one special needs child that had more soul than most other people in the world, it seems like they are given something else in abundance in their spirit to make up for the lack elsewhere. You can learn a lot from these people.

I am proud of that tire machine you brought back from the dead. Good job. As to the bubble balancer , I was trained on them, with the four weight method. I always thought it was the best way to balance a tire.

Facts and figures they are amazing . . My total respect to you for your amazing respect and kindness toward chris . We were raised to be respectful , father was ex military . And our cousin was downs syndrome we looked after her . Father always taught us as we taught our sons same way , , never ever mock the afflicted , be kind and give them all the help you can , that has always stayed with us throughout our lives ,

My first car at 15, in 1968, was a 2dr. coupe 1955 Studebaker Champion V-8 auto w/ factory AM radio and a yellow over white paint on the exterior and white, black, yellow interior . In 1968 at the Omaha Studebaker dealership, off the used lot I bought it for 90.00 dollars.

Jonathon, the wiring diagram I'm looking at for a '57 Golden Hawk shows a typical ballast resistor feeding the coil when the starter is not running and the ignition key is 'ON'....When you check the distributor wiring out, it would be smart to verify that somebody hasn't modified the wiring and bypassed the resistor permanently? Car will run without it, but not reliably as the excess current cooks coil windings, point contacts and distributor wire insulation. At mid-range rpm, the points start arcing when opening (at standard dwell settings) especially with an old condenser and you get bad spark at the plugs even with good spark cables.

Greetings to Chris from another Chris with Asperger's! We Aspies get fascinated by different things, but we're obsessive about our personal passion. Mine are synthesisers and old computers, but if I come across any seatbelts from unusual UK vehicles I'll keep your friend in mind 🙂

I’m fascinating with the fascinations that you Chrises have! It amazes me. All of my passions are not really so. I like a few things but no real passion. I saw a story about a 12 year old boy with Aspergers who collected antique vacuum cleaners and had the worlds best collection! He started at 3 years old. He always loved it.
      God bless you and Chris!

I can't wait till you get that other Packard V8, I know you will build a torque monster out of it. Thanks again for the shoutout, I am hovering at the 500 subscriber mark, that you made happen. Hi J.W. ! I have never watched one of your videos without learning something...the Mustang tank in the Lancer is ingenious! I have a soft spot for the Lancer because my first car was a '62 Valiant 2 door. That was in '65 and bein a kid, I beat the he'll out of it, and when it broke, Dad would say..."You broke it, you fix it!" So there ya go.
The 😥 sad part is, those cars were rust buckets then, and now you NEVER see them. Not in junkyard videos, or on the street. I would love to find one, cause I really liked the car....but I guess that ain't to be.
    You go boy! ✌😄

My 4 year old was recently diagnosed as being on the spectrum.
It’s hard to know what to feel about this as a parent, just wanting the best for my little boy, especially with all the other setbacks, and struggles he’s had since he was born. What’s especially is bothersome is wondering how well he’ll be able to get along in the world as an adult.
They say the more we work with him, and the more help we get him, the better off his outcome will be. He’s been going to special needs preschool for the past two school years, and also has 4 different outpatient therapies he’s enrolled in.
While there’s a notable difference between him and his peers, he’s made awesome progress, especially in the last six months after he got his diagnosis.
In the end, as his parent, my main wishes for my boy is he can live a happy, independent, and comfortable life. And most importantly, he never lets anything, or anyone hold him back from what his ambitions are.
It’s inspiring, and reassuring to see a gentleman like Chris fulfill these wishes.
Thank you Jonathan for giving us a chance to meet your buddy Chris!

Fantastic vid John W, now you have the Stude running you might want to chek the coil wire and coil for corrosion and continuity ......and the cap for craks and ditto for rotor too! we had misfire at high RPM on a 6cyl chevy and turned out to be a bad connect on dist coil wire from coil, made full contact at idle but give rpm it would break up or die.wire was barely touching connector but look good on outside.................also chek ignition switch too!!!!!!!!!

I hope Chris has enough room for all the seat belt buckles that will flood in. What a sweet man he is. My son is 32 and has very mild Aspergers but is doing fine.

I love the Golden Hawk. Nice rumpty idle sound. You won't need to speed up the recording to get the NASCAR sound on its videos!
