Bethesda was the best choice in taking over fallout after BOS, and unlike the original creators and van burren, have ultimately tried to stay as true to the tone and lore of the franchise as possible. As much as people hate on fallout 3, 4, and 76 if it was’nt for bethesda creating fallout 3 we would’ve never got new vegas. The 3 and stand in vegas we would’ve got instead would’ve been worse. Thats what makes new vegas works so well, not only does it bring back the older tone of the older games, it also implements elements of 3 as well as the gameplay. People hate on them entirely too much when they’ve arguably given us the best fallouts of the franchise.

Im a die hard new vegas fan but fallout 4 was NOT a bad game by any means. I can respect them for creating a proper real-time gameplay and movement for a fallout game. Plus i can't think of a game with complete role playing freedom and an actual good real-time action at the same time. Closest thing we get are CDPR games and even that still felt mostly linear.
4 is a lot better in certain aspects. The gunplay is definitely better. I started playing new Vegas recently, and the gunplay is honestly pretty bad. But the RPG aspect in Vegas is definitely better. Vegas has better weapon design too. 4s weapons are pretty goofy. The assault rifle is one talked about a lot. I think the assault rifle is meant to feel more like an LMG than a rifle. Especially with a drum mag. Makes the Assault rifle feel like the heavy cannon from DOOM eternal Also the hotkeys in Vegas is a nightmare to work with. I can't use a gun in my top left/right hotkeys without the chance to accidentally swap my ammo type on my current gun. Also the reload benches are confusing as hell
mods almost completely fix the clunky gameplay in new vegas which in my opinion, makes it just as good if not better than fallout 4 in terms of gameplay mechanics. Not to mention what New Vegas was able to accomplish with 18 months, new ammo types, gun mods, new guns, huge branching for different storylines. New Vegas gets a lot of hate and it doesn’t deserve it

2:46 you can still drown in power armor. it takes a longer than normal, but after a few minutes your health starts going down rapidly. i walked from the castle to that island settlement in powerarmor, and about halfway there i had to pop a stimpack every couple of seconds because my health would go down really fast.
The flamer look stronger in fallout 4 and broken considering that in vats it can fill all your critic points with 2 shoots and combine with another weapons.
This might just be my New Vegas bias, but I just gotta say, if you were wearing a 500 lbs suit of armor and jumped 20 stories down, no amount of hydrolic systems or high strength joints are going to stop the laws of physics from crushing your body with so much force that you end up looking like The Master.
New vegas had inaccurate power armor and the frame itself is absorbing all the impact of the fall which is probably unrealistic but what do you expect it's a video game even then thats probably just a game feature and not something that a power armor is actually capable of in the lore the original fallouts had that frame type power armor but for some reason Bethesda decided to make it look like just slighty better combat armor in 3
Fun fact: In F4 you can't breathe underwater with powerarmor, it just takes a long time to run out of air (around 10 real life minutes if I recall correctly)
Fallout 3 and new vegas physics are still way better then fallout 4 physics but Todd did make power armor a whole better in fallout 4 to what power armor should have been

Your body is made of jiggly stuff including your brain, a sudden stop like that once you hit terminal velocity would likely cause you brain damage, and that is if the suit can even withstand it's own weight upon landing without suffering significant damage and if it fails you're basically spam in a can after getting crushed.

You can disarm people of their weapons in 4. You just need to cripple the arms holding the gun. Putting at least 3-4 points into weapon perks (gunslinger, swing for the fences, commando, sharpshooter, heavy weapons specialist) improve the chances of that happening too

Honestly, not a fan of Fallout 4's "Alt-F4" approach towards power armor fall damage. Yee, make it pretty high, that'd be fun. But a bare bones chassis should absolutely not allow you to fall from orbit unscathed (Not to say a full set should let you do this either).

FO4/76 PA feels like a walking meme with all the goofyness around it, the short torso and oversized hips. FO1 and 2 had the vest actual power armor. Honestly, not a fan of Fallout 4's "Alt-F4" approach towards power armor fall damage. Yee, make it pretty high, that'd be fun. But a bare bones chassis should absolutely not allow you to fall from orbit unscathed (Not to say a full set should let you do this either).
In my opinion fallout 4 is the best fallout game
I call the flamethrower a “sunshine” because literally when I use it I can’t see anything (the most fun weapon to play with)

fo3 was great but an openworld game without running is the worst gamedesign ever. so its unplayable today.
i not played fallout 4 but from what i see is just wasted good chanche,litterraly they removed weapon degradation for probably make work the weapons being all modded different or what you know,doing this they litterraly waste chanche to make cool the repair weapon mechanic by adding workbench repairing , vats and how they managed gunplay can be gkkd,i suppose but removed many cool things that are good as they was,the minigun and flamethrower having backpack naked them more sense to be used whitout power armor instead of the actual one that seems way too heavy whitout,sistem of level up was just good as it was before and huuu change it that way i really don't liked it,litterraly london put some of the old character development back cause they know what they are doing more than Bethesda,cool the dialogue cause character talk but for me as many a big no about can't know exactly what the character need to say, just the fact that fallout 76 made you pay for having a proper skin on assault rifle make me think on many choice Bethesda hano done in the wrong way,i want to ask to fallout 4 player , weapon are really unique,when you find one it is like they have a unique cool look or anything ? and too the choice of not adding all the work around ammo for make you want a specific type same for guns and laser,just all waste chanche
FO4/76 PA feels like a walking meme with all the goofyness around it, the short torso and oversized hips. FO1 and 2 had the vest actual power armor. Plus, PA in FO4/76 is very hollow due to how easy it is to get it, not even a proper requirement or gameplay mechanic to make it feel like you earned it and have to make a build around it. Facts

F4 is not a Fallout- its pathetic, simple and dumb game (only charisma etc) pseudo fps, this game is ugly almost in all aspects... (graphics, colours and PA/ fusion cores concepts r nice*) F4 stupid and dumb solutions game has 46% vs FNV 84% everything is clear.
Somebody really talking about nostalgic f4 isn’t even that bad and plus it’s prob even a lot better then the 2 previous games and the fact your talking graphics being ugly compared to the other two I gotta say you really need to clean them eyes
