    Just an FYI on the statement about not able to edit PPT in ProPresenter. If you have PPT on your machine (at least with a full version it works), there are three options to import PPT. The button is at the bottom left of the import screen (on a mac)
    1. Import all slides as JPEG images (the default example you showed)
    2. Import text objects as ProPresenter slide elements
    3. Import text and graphic objects as ProPresenter slide elements
    I tried option 3 and was able to move all objects independently as well as edit all text (which I assume option 2 allows)
    Note. If you use one of the two editable options, it does not bring over PPT effects (shadows, strokes, photo fades, etc.) It works really well with clean designs.
    Also, as you mentioned, you can play it directly from PowerPoint.

      I did NOT know this, But I was able to Verify the info. Very cool, I don't have access to Powerpoint but this is a neat feature. Mac Only. -Nathan R

    That "image for each stage of builds" tip is a life changer! 🙏
    We used to duplicate slides and remove animated elements appropriately before importing into ProPresenter

    PowerPoint has some of the best animations when it comes to individual element animations. If possible, I was hoping if Renewed Vision could implement some type of update that could import not just the slides but also all the element animations into Pro7. Thanks!

      Pro7 does offer a bunch of slide animations going from slide to slide as well as text box animations called Builds. However it’s still different than PPT and I haven’t heard of any intentions to add more transition features in upcoming updates. -Nathan

      Basically, what is being said is, we don’t really support PowerPoint other than a bunch of jpgs. None of the the advanced features of PowerPoint is supported, such as fly-in build animations.

    another option I used when the pastor had his own laptop with power point and his own clicker, I downloaded an open source app which generates an NDI video source from powerpoint output running on the same system. Then in PP7 just add an the NDI video source from your video input configuration. All NDI streams are just available on the same LAN assuming there are no firewalls blocking it on your PP7 computer or the computer running the PPT presentation.

      You are so correct! I actually have a video where I do this same thing, in order to show a web page in Pro7. Same concept for showing a PPT, even works from an iPad. th-cam.com/video/-aegLYu91lY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UB0gpSnxmilcGnlG

    So how about if you're trying to import a video from a guest speaker's Google Slides and the video is on a slide. I'm having a difficult time trying to find how to export it. Tried to Download as PPTX, but when importing that into ProPresenter, it doesn't work (I even tried changing that import option from Iport all slides as JPEG images, Import text objects as ProPresenter slide elements, as well as Import text and graphic objects as ProPresenter slide elements. Thanks for any input.

      That's Challenging; in those cases, I always ask presenters to send me a copy of the video from the slide separate, from the slides that I instruct them to export and send images. -Nathan R

    What MacBook do you currently use for Pro-presenter 7?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I currently recommend the Mac Studio Computers. They are $2K and do 5 Display Outputs including the operator screen. -Nathan R. With Macs it's more about the display count you need.

    What happens when we upload powerpoint sides into Propresenter, then all the slides are black. You can view them on the right side of the screen but NOT the main side on the left. You can also view the slides when you select Edit, but why are slides black on the main screen?

      Something like that sounds like a Bug. What version are you on? I suggest you reach out to Support. They are very good at what they do, and may have seen this issue before. -Nathan

      @@CrazyAmazingDesigns I just figuered out how to see them in the main side on the left. But before today I would send them to the team at our church and come sunday morning they'd say we got the file but it won't show on our computer. Like as if it didn't transfer somehow. It works on my home laptop but not at church with the Mac. Why do you think it won't transfer? TIA

      @@martindavila2232 I try to avoid this feature, but I've been using it weekly recently and it's done some weird stuff. I'd recommend reaching out to support. They can ask you questions about your computer and Pro7 version number and they might have bugs reported about something in your setup. They have a huge database of reported isues. -Nathan R

    Does this work with Google docs and slides?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm going to say No, You need to have the PowerPoint viewer installed on the computer. Pro7 needs to see the actual application to open it and export the photos. If you'd like to do it manually, then Yes you might be able to open a PPTX file in the online docs version, and export slides as images. I have not tried that. -Nathan

    I appreciate the video. What I don’t understand is how does the speaker control their presentation. Could you do a video about that?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! The speaker/ presenter could use a simple USB Clicker, or have someone else run slides, or use the Pro7 ProRemote app. -Nathan

    Is there a way to put a "picture in picture" on powerepoint slide in ProPresenter? I haven't been successful so far, but our online audience complains that they cannot see the pastor when he's clicking through his powerpoint slides. I tried setting up a "Theme" with one object to display the current slide view and the other to display the video input. But the slides seem to have their content erased when I apply the theme. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, and No. Pro7 is not designed to do this. You could use a prop to add a video input to the slide, then make the pptx slides smaller to make room for the video.

    • @laurielindsey6170
      @laurielindsey6170 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CrazyAmazingDesigns thank you! I ended up putting a shape on top of the powerpoint and "filling" it with the video input. I was not able to make this work with a Theme, but as you say, ProPresenter was not designed for it.

    How can I use animations of power point in Pro presenter?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      To show Animations in Pro7 you will need to export the PowerPoint as a video.

    • @JJ6206
      @JJ6206 ปีที่แล้ว
