I missed a few tech specs which can be found here; The Autobeam LED Unit is able to produce a magnificent light, up to 350% brighter vs standard, while retaining a classic cool white LED light with a colour temperature of 6000K. SPECIFICATION Voltage: 12v Wattage: 70W Colour temperature: White 6000k Build Material: 6063 Aluminium
Excellent upgrade. Autobeam products are outstanding. I replaced all the indicators and reversing lights with their LED versions on my Mk3.5 Focus ST3 when I had it. Difference was amazing, I’d recommend you do those as well!
Top result, not going to lie I was a bit anxious until you cleaned the area where the lights sit! I think I may need to seek professional assistance for my OCD’s 😂😂😂!!!
Nice and easy and they look really good. Will be good to see what they look like at night with a follow up video or pictures. Might consider doing the Old Ford Fusion for the winter
Hello mate great vid as usual. I’ve changed all of the interior and exterior bulbs on my ST to Autobeams. Good fit and quality, they make a big difference.👍🏻
Lovely job Gary. Did the same to my s max last year…. I couldn’t stop with just the front did the fog lights/indicators/ all of rear and any inside to LED 😂
Dude why are you not driving your rs ? You are just keeping it nice for someone else you could die tomorrow. Stop messing about with that shyte and drive and enjoy the beast. Let’s see videos of you cleaning the rs after you’ve got it filthy driving the shit out of it on the b roads. 👍🏻
MR375 tomorrow. Plus there’s only so many driving vids in the RS I can make. It’ll be off the road for winter soon 😉 Fiesta is decent mate, you’ll have to just not watch the videos if you don’t like it 👍🏻
@@CarFocused I do like these videos aswell but your driving me insane lol get that focus rs out in all weathers mr375 won’t go very fast parked in a garage. Life is to short man I wanna see you putting autobeam bulbs in the focus 👍🏻 if I ever see you at Fordfair or any other ford show I’m coming to have a word 😂
@@CarFocused Especially on your Fiesta... night and day different ! 😀 I dont do much night driving, but I now use my LED side lights as DRLs. They're effective and use hardly any battery power.👍
I had to remove my LED bulbs from my Fiesta ST at MOT 3 years ago as the light intensity output failed the test as the headlamp type is not for LED, so is tested for halogen. Nothing to do with washers or auto levelling.
Will see how it goes but maybe a set of halogens will end up in there for the MOT 🙃 Depends who the tester is I guess as quite a few people I’ve spoken to have passed without issue.
@@CarFocused that’s the joy of MOTs, should be black and white, but it never is. When using them they were better on a dry road, worse on a wet one compared to halogens. See what you make of them & enjoy tomorrow.
@@keithstapleton7805haha yea it’s a bit of a roulette sometimes isn’t it! I’ve been finding the halogens quite poor at night so hoping these will make a nice difference. Thanks mate looking forward to it - video inbound!
only issue you got if you had a bump or car stolen and insurance checked it over and find theres led bulbs fitted they will void your policy as they not legal bulbs for that car
Thanks for the tip, music is always a tricky one as it won’t please everyone. Most of the time I don’t bother with it at all. Thanks for watching too 😊
If you are interested in LED bulbs in a headlight that’s designed for a halogen unit is illegal and will/should fail an mot because an LED bulb wont have the same beam pattern as a halogen bulb
Will see how it goes - they are meant to be far better in the projector lens headlights as it focuses the output better than a normal headlight. I mean I won’t carry on using them if I’m blinding everyone but I can’t see an issue tbh. As for the MOT it’s fairly straightforward to put halogens back in 👍🏻
LEDs is always the way to go! Way whiter and way better!😊 I had LEDs in mine in projector fisheye type and it passed the MOT! If you use in reflectors then it’s not advisable to run them, mostly because the beam pattern is all wrong, can throw out some glare by dazzling oncoming traffic and fail the MOT!👍
@@CarFocused that is why the MOT made them illegal in reflectors because I have seen some boyracers do put stupidly bright bulbs in and they will have oncoming cars flash the life out of you and get pulled over or even worse case of causing an accident because they have been blinded by stupidly bright headlights!
Will be interested to see if these actually work. A main reason why I sold both my fiestas was the headlights were shocking couldn’t see a thing. My Skoda would have the same lights as your cupra and they are amazing would never go back. I changed the bulbs to all sorts of “brighter” lights but none of them were any better. I found out there isn’t much you can do with halogen.
@@CarFocused Fair play, never tried autobeam but was on my shortlist to purchase. The proper test to see if they are good is when you’re down a dark country road or somewhere with no street lighting.

Haha if it was the RS I would have made it mint under there but just gave it a quick wipe down on the Fez. Still, has to be done 👌🏻
Nice job mate glad you went AB think there the best out there
Yea most people were recommending them so thought I’d give them a try!

They sure do! So much better than the standard bulbs!

That’s a really great improvement on the light 😎
For sure!
Good job ! I've got Xenons on my old Focus ST but updated to LED sidelights... like yours fiddly AF to fit but look a good match now
Yea such a simple mod but makes a nice difference!

Yea the white lights match the car better too I think, with the car being Frozen white.
very good mate massive improvement
Glad you think so!
Wow such a great upgrade 👌🏻😜

Would this be an MOT fail? I know the testing requirements with lights are strict.
Possible - depends on the tester really!
@CarFocused would be main dealer so I think I already know the answer 😆
@@jonnysimmons6014 haha, you can always switch them back for the MOT if you’re not sure 😊
Can u do a video at night showing light output on road i have osram nightbreaker +150 0 issues and so happy with light output 😁
I’ll try mate - I’ve just been out and moved the car in the dark and the lights seem amazing to be fair. Next level compared to the halogens!

Very unlikely though. I’m fairly sure they don’t go to the lengths of checking the cars bulbs out prior to paying out…?
Nice vid. Very comprehensive. I’d lose the music completely though during parts where you’re talking.
