    Man joe that car looks awesome! I really wish the rtr was more durable otherwise I would have one. It’s the best looking rock buggy out imo

      Same. I was debating getting the rtr but then came across these videos and changed my mind.

    There are guys who have changed the motor and the esc smoothens out a lot so that could work too but im sure you found the best way to do it with the new esc

    Have you considered putting heat sink grease between the motor and transmission and the transmission and frame plate?

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah, that would just create a mess.

    If you are not on Arthur's (vitavon) top customer VIP list I have no clue who would be. He makes great ports for sure but I think you through your video on purchases alone purchased him a Cadillac this year. Lol

    wish you showed the adjustability on the motor mount im running 2400kv motor on mine with 4s and the stock motor mount allows for only 38t spur( smallest spur they sell) and 20t pinion and its maxxed out trying to find a mount that fits the tenacity line up with more adjustability for larger pinion dont wanna spend 90 bucks on vitavon to find out its the same thing as stock

    I pulled the Spektrum ESC and 2200kv Motor out of my RYFT, selling them if interested. Less than 10 hours use on them. Putting a Xerun XR8 Pro and G3 4268 Off Road 2200KV in it's place. My Ryft has been a nightmare, Vitavon Lockers next week might get me running again.

    I've been seeing more and more complaints on RC groups about vitavon qc issues. I see they left a nice big piece of swarf in your transmission. Hope they aren't getting too big for their britches.

    I am surprised at all the issues these rigs seem to have, and I jave watched you invest a pretty penny into the buggy. I say I am surprised because losi jas designed and build so many successful and super durable race biggies. My old losi 8e 2.0 is a beast and has held up like it is a purpose built basher. Hopefully the lazernut just needs a few updates because it should be a really fun car and it looks great.

    Yo my dude i just bought one of these and i wanted to ask you a question about that servo..... so out of the box my Lasernut turns like a semi truck, it's turning radius is huge. Did putting that servo in help with the turning radius? Or is there a setting i can adjust to make it turn better?

  • @SpeedSyko

    I’ve got a new stock one. Not making me feel confident that there are so many upgrades. I may sell mine.

    • @loum7008
      @loum7008 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great rc, not a basher. Put in the vitavon diff case and you will be all set. Like most rtrs upgrade the steering servo too. I did put on the losi sct bumper to protect the front. Looks ok too.

    all that aluminum may result in lower durability due to extra weight,

  • @Mckhus
    @Mckhus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I don’t know man, maybe it’s better to call it quits on this buggy. 500 car with 1000 of upgrades in it and still drives worse than any 8th scale pro racing buggy kit with bigger wheels.
    I got used ae 8.2, slapped 6s in it and it takes pack after pack. Standing backflips with mx2.8s. All that for fraction of price. Got some mates bashing stock tekno buggies with bigger tires and parts refuse to break.
    Laser nut has same issues as 8ght lineup, just a platform that needs major overhaul

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’ll never be a 1/8 buggy

    • @Mckhus
      @Mckhus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lasernut is losi 8ight with bigger wheels and couple minor changes. Essentially 8th scale buggy. Could just throw truggy hexes on tekno buggy and have cheaper and better driving basher

    All quiet and no fun! Need louds and motors like 1/5 scale Baja!
