      well its telling that the tiktok ceo did not give a clear "no". its a reasonable question actually. Does Tiktok plant a malware to access the network. Whats interesting is, Tiktok is not available in China, along with everything else we use. How peculiar......

    See when a company is starting up initially, they start off in one place. Tiktok started in China, so obviously their entire servers and setup was in China. Now they are making an effort to shift the entire system of US user data to the USA. That needs to be appreciated. Its a big move. As far as the user data collection is concerned. Google, Facebook and many other companies do the same as Tiktok. If you are gonna ban, then ban all of them. Don't just target Chinese companies. That's really biased.

    • @DaddyFatSzack
      @DaddyFatSzack ปีที่แล้ว

      I get what you are saying, and it’s valid, but understand, just because the country that ByteDance resides, the CCP can decide (for national security measures) to ensure they form over user data. Data that can come from American users.
      This is really about the CCP. There is no-partisan support of this. Let me tell you something, in America we fight over EVERYTHING, the fact that both sides agree with this??? We never agree on anything.
      TikTok is in trouble. TikTok WILL GET BANNED. This is not even TikTok’s fault, they are just collateral damage.

Also, being CEO, he will not know who handles the data nor how was it handled nor was their unauthorised access even by tiktok chinese employees

Almost every question relating to ccp, he did not answer directly. This already support the notion that ccp is very influential to tiktok. Overall, its clear tiktok can be banned based on the way he answered or skipped answering the questions. A layman using the techniques he used can also perform like he did. The main issue is that the Chinese gov has demonstrated extreme control over all Chinese companies, private or not, by making their CEOs and shareholders disappear. Sometimes they are imprisoned with an internal gov trial then mysteriously die in prison or they reappear while insisting it was nothing and telling their families not to say anything in fear of being executed. So IF the Chinese gov told ByteDance leaders to gather data for them, then they would be threatened to do so. Congress did not mention anything about this and completely misunderstood the situation and yelled at this man for 5 hours. Our congress is extremely embarrassing.

    Though, really. I don't think they are really asking questions.
    Also what are they gonna do next, play with the word 'could' and ask stupid questions and demand people to answer with a 'yes' or 'no' with questions like:
    "COULD someone with malicious intent launch a nuclear missile strike on China?"

    This is part 3 in an ongoing series on an approach to advancing religious freedom by reducing opportunities for conflict between people of faith and those who feel discriminated against by the actions of people of faith. Part 1 described the sources of law that create the legal climate for religious practice and part 2 described the current legal rules on religious freedom. This article will describe one of the prominent examples of conflict between religious freedom and government policies.
    Readers of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie books will remember DeSmet, South Dakota, where the Ingalls family settled in the late 1870s. The small town - really a handful of families at the time - is a good setting for a thought experiment about religious freedom conflicts.

    Its a legit question, the first question may sound moronic, however the next question is extremely relevant. The main concern here is if tik tok has the ability to access other devices under this wifi network.

      It's relevant theoretically. "Does your app work as a spyware?" That's the meaning of the question. Well, no, it doesn't. But if one doesn't know what wi-fi is, it's hard to expect them to have done research to figure how comic-bookish the question sound.

    Hahahahaha... This is so funny! Give up making yourself appear foolish to the outside world. Let's get back to basics by ending the chase and taking down all those social networking sites for good. In this approach, American parents might be able to revive their lives, take better care of their kids, and develop as parents. Perhaps it will also eradicate all types of criminal activity, which they claim is a result of these social networking sites.
