my submission to the @pwnisher Boss Fight challenge. made with Blender, Nuke, and Resolve. #animation #blender3d #bossfight #blender #creaturedesign #vfx
I made about 6 or 7 different particle systems for the various parts of the body and then simulated and rendered them individually, putting them all together in comp. I think I also used a noise texture to help make the emission of particles less uniform, but I can't remember for sure. There was definitely a lot of trial and error.
This is actually so underrated! Such awesome scene building dude!
SO SICK! The water look so clean coming off his shell. Great content.

Appreciate that, thanks. It just wasn't what the judges were into. I'm ok with it, I had fun making it and that's all I wanted.
Must've happened in Alaska, correct?

I am trying to make a monster rise from the water and it looks like good 🤧🤧
