From what a lot of us into this hobby have noticed a batch of bad coils from China your not the only one experiencing this problem bud on Kevin's shop channel he rewired his and used epoxy to hold it together might check it out ride safe brother

4 stroke is the way to go.
Ya thats why my wife's bikes is 4stroke
You can use a star washer with a bent over tab to adjust the timing

The spark plug wire end on my chainsaw was like that.
