I'm glad you posted the plug kit.... i need one... thanks
@@geoffsides408 your welcome
How is the balance with the engine on the side? Also how’d you keep the engine from not breaking off from shock?
Looks pretty good. Why the crack happened is likely a combination of probably two or more factors out of about 5 different variables. The main thing with aluminum even quality metal is fatigue cycles. Everyone has bent a beverage can pop top tab back and forth until it breaks off. The same thing applies to a bike frame. If it has enough flex to get into the fatigue range it's only a matter of time before it cracks. That fatigue range could be initiated by harmonic vibration, not having good geometry, a bunch of things basically. I'm imagining that on you're particular bike a combination of weight and possibly the quality of aluminum/welding/possible lack of proper post heat treatment, and then coupled with age/hours ridden was the most likely combination. I can't tell for sure but you appear to be a pretty big guy. Maybe around 170-180? That and having run a 212 on it plus off roading a bit? I think it may be less related overall to HP perse. Pretty cool engine choice. Have fun welding. Look into annealing/post heat treating aluminum. Probably not necessary with the way you repaired it but you should learn about annealing welds as part of welding anyway.
At least I hope these (relatively common) frame cracks aren't mostly related to HP or frame quality considering the engine I want to install on mine.
I'm running what look like the same tires as you have there. I've had them on my bike for about a month. Be careful if you think you hit something and are going flat try to stop quickly. Chamfer the valve stem holes in you're wheels. They really do give the bike a nice look but better than that the ride quality is considerably more nimble/sporty feeling.
Do a video on the customer seat you put on this
Have to seen this video th-cam.com/video/kQ-vb5UiaXw/w-d-xo.html
You saying there was a recall, on the front forks, I have a falcon 196 cc mini bike, I think it's the same bike as the Baja, is there a recall ?
To my knowledge. It's just the baja Warrior
My feeler gauges are labeled weird. Example: .025/.635mm. The .025 being on top, I think they mean inches? Is the lash supposed to be 0.3mm or 0.3… thou? Or whatever haha. Thank you for the video and advice!
Yes inches intake .003 exhaust .005 (inch)
Where are you located?
I'm over by 3 three rivers mi
What fork assembly did you use?

Where and what CVT parts did you get ? i want a CVT for my Phatmoto .
It's 30 series torque converter on a storm vorce 5hp engine and the same as 212 predator
👍
Thats awesome, Subscribed!

Great idea!!
Thanks
Cool wheel stand. Tires look good, I hope they work for you. I put a slightly larger tire on my Huffy until it came off the wheel one day. Only seven blocks from home luckily. I like my Schwalbe Big Apple tires on the Rover, makes a much smoother ride than nobbies. Ride safe. Thanks.
Thanks glad you like it. That would suck
Awesome 👍 Can't wait to see the ride video!

Why they selling some cheap azz frames that's not American built that's why u gotta put some USA love in it💪🏼💯🇺🇲
Aint that the truth. Thanks for watching
Does that Torque Converter fit the stock 79cc Lifan engine ?
It might. but the stock 79cc doesn't have the power
Can you not do a jackshaft on this using the gears will be perfect 😎👍🏻
Not really, because the way the motor fits in the frame. It would be more of a hassle
This thing is going to be wild, brother. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 let's go!! 🎉🎉🎉
it should scoot pretty good
Nice, my man 💪 can't wait to see how it turns out!
Thanks
Nice work bro thanks for sharing it
Thanks for the visit
Can you add an oil cooler to that engine? If that’s a wet clutch style cvt I’d be a little concerned about heat when off roading low speed. Or maybe a temp gauge at least to monitor oil temp.
I've run these motor long distances before and haven't had any problems. but I could put a temp gage on just so we can see what temperatures we get.
Do you know the size of the rear wheel disc brake? it looks like a 203 but it looks bigger than a 203, just trying to make sure sense mine came bent, thanks
It's a 255
www.phatmoto.com/products/phatmoto-rover-hydraulic-disc-brakes-front-rear
I'm not 100% the 5mm smaller will work but that's only 2.5mm off center diff. The advantage to the 250 would be it is thicker. Not pit bike thick but every little bit helps www.amazon.com/Rippin-Moto-Surron-Segway-Talaria/dp/B0C63B7GQJ
@@engineunknown2 thanks
@@engineunknown2are you going to install pit bike brakes on yours?
Looking good! How many hours are wrapped up in that welding project?
Thanks, it was just a few hours
👍 Looking forward to seeing the build & what the 110cc will do......110cc full auto motorcycle engine 🆚 $285 100cc 56x40mm 4 stroke bike kit? I trying to figure out the pros & cons of each. Like if the 110cc clutch is a better multi plate wet clutch & if it has a built in generator/alternator. If the the gearing in the full auto 110cc will climb hills much better. Which is faster,etc..
Ya it should be good. Eventually I will pick up one of those 100cc engine kits
Wow, looks really awesome man. I like it.
Glad you like it!

@@engineunknown2 Cool, I have seen some of these but not with a CVT type drive train. I'm a disabled ex motorcyclist who needs a no shift transmission. Thanks.
Great job! Looks awesome 👍
Thanks! 👍
(@ engine unknown) Thanks for explaining how the 110cc full auto works compared to the 125cc semi auto....Hopefully in Neutral-pedal only mode. It won't have chain drag like the 2 strokes...It seems like 110cc engine is the better option 🆚 125cc semi auto...But I'm not sure if the $285 "100"cc 4 stroke automatic kit might be better. It's like 56x40mm & 40mph out of the box. Lots of hill climbing tq & governed at like 3500rpms. So with a stronger lighter balanced aluminum flywheel & governor adjusted to 5 or 6 rpm. It should really move....But the 110cc probably has a better, real wet motorcycle clutch plus the gears....🤔 if it has a built in 12v generator. That'd be a huge plus, I'm trying to figure out if a motorized bicycle with an added 500 to 750w fwd ebike kit. For a 2wd hybrid could be made to work well together...The front ebike kit would be good for very steep hills for a 2wd power boost & to run 100% legal ebike mode in areas where a gas bike will get a ticket...Eventually I wanna build a full suspension reinforced hybrid stealth bike that can safely cruise at 55mph & get 100mpgs. Instead of riding my 85 Yamaha Xj700 that needs registration/insurance & only gets 35mpgs. Plus is a cruiser not made for any off road.. I want a legal loophole bike that can safely cruise at 55mph & get 100mpgs or close to it.
Love the countryside rides! Bike looks great.
Thanks for watching
wheres the amazon links? thanks
Hey iam doing a 212cc swap on mine what sprocket size do I use planning on getting a 30 series torque converter on ebay not sure what sprocket number to buy plz lmk thanks love your build wanna try to copy it
I always ran the stock 50t sprocket. you could run 40t. it just depends where you live. a 50t You will be able to clime any hill with Ease.
Looks great I’m going to do this to my phastmoto.
Go for it!
What’s crazy is that you can add a more powerful 4 stroke engine and hit 60-70mph😱
It's a 2stroke thing
what fork is that, thanks
This is the link amzn.to/44RsSPv
Looks awesome, great job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
22 lb valve springs are crazy especially if you put the stock one down inde it. That increased pressure is going to prematurally wear down the lobes on your cam. I just installed 18 lb valve springs in my engine good to 6200rpm. Bad news is at max cam lift the coils actually stack with no clearance between the windings. NOT GOOD!
That looks real promising. 👍
Thanks
Best be overkill then having to do it again
Thanks
It's only overkill if it doesn't work good job keep going
Thanks
I like your modification. Nice job.
Thanks!
Any frame cracks yet bro gonna do the same mod cuz iam trying to bypass the cheap jack shaft
Ya i did crack it but im fixing it. heres the latest video th-cam.com/video/HmUl_nBRNHk/w-d-xo.html
Hell yeah bro add some supports n your set nice work bro
Thanks ya I'm going to brace it up
Dude at least stop at stop signs! SMH, just gonna make it hard on all the rest of us, who follow riding laws
Seems like every time I get on TH-cam someone always disregards the laws, COME ON MAN!!
Nice work, brother 👏 💪 👍. Man, I would just add the supports why not right? You will not have to worry about it again. 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks ya im going to brace it all up
@@engineunknown2 hell yeah 😎
Do you know what the lash settings are for the 49 cc bicycle engines? I set mine at .003 but it still doesn’t seem right.
What's it doing
004" intake / .006" exhaust
Nice I want to build a side car that leans when I do.. So having better geometry and a hydraulic cushioned shock is definitely the answer for me.. Thanks for the idea 💡
That would be cool!
Thanks for the update, would like to see it beefed up! 👍
Coming soon!
It's worth fixing. Hope you find a fix soon. I'm very happy with my 98cc Coleman with belt drive kit. I won't be jumping off any curbs after seeing this. Thanks for posting.
Ya a curb jump might be bad
