@Littlesnappy Cakes well one someone who used to work at playdead is working on Somerville, so I assume that why he thought playdead was making it

Somerville is made by Jumpship, which is the new company made by one of the founders of Playdead, which is the company that made Inside and Limbo. It looks like the leaders at Playdead had a big fight and they split up. Anyway I hope Playdead also comes out with a new game. I'll buy both Somerville and whatever Playdead hopefully releases.

You're the friggin master at this game. My record without the orbs is 1 hour 20 minutes. And my record with the orbs, alternate ending and skipping the blob part is 1 hour 27 minutes. I'm on ps4 so I can't do the fast climbing up ropes unless there's a way I don't know about. I also haven't learned how to do the glitch where you skip a coupleof parts. This game is addictive 😆

everything you see in my runs can be done on ANY platform ... climbing up ropes fast is done by tapping up in the rhythm the boy climbs , so you can do the same with the stick of the controller

@@parhelion3927 Thanks for the reply. Your tip was helpful. My record with orbs now is down to 1 hour 20 minutes, without orbs, 1 hour 15 minutes 😂. For the swim boost, are you double tapping the joystick in the direction you're swimming in?

@@rexbanner4608 those are good times, GG ...don't hesitate to record your runs, and maybe post them on the leaderboard (speedrun . com) ... boosts in water happen when changing direction suddenly, there's no hidden taps (check my latest run to see my inputs) 👍

Can you please explain what you were doing with the window when you skipped the section where you are pretending one of the freaks?

in my latest run(s) I've added a keyboard display, to show the inputs made during the run ... here's the direct link to the section you're asking: th-cam.com/video/Mqh180syR2o/w-d-xo.html ... this particular trick is called "pushback" and it can gradually move the character into the background or foreground (depending on a few factors which I won't get into right now) ... check the inputs in the link I provided, and let me know if something else is still unclear

it would be better if you ran past the orb in the cornfield and cut it off at the end of the game, when you return to the dungeon in the cornfield, you will save about 15 seconds

unfortunately we have to break all small orbs first, otherwise the last (big) orb is not open (see 1:07:17 in this video) ... but yeah, the route would be different if the order of orbs wouldn't matter - thanks so much for getting involved ,you got good eye for routing :)

@@parhelion3927 I wanted to explain about 1080p. Someone likes to watch the walkthrough in high quality, someone likes to watch speedrun WR. If you could connect 2 in 1, it would be a video for the ages on the INSIDE game.
