I used to work at a compsny that issued me a portfolio of contracts that were assigned to me as the lead HVAC/R technician. One of the contracts actually was a family of contracts under the heading of waste water treatment facilities. Basically, they were sewage treatment plants. When I arrived home after a day of working in one of those sites, I would not go directly into my home because I smelled like sewage. Instead, I would park my service van in my driveway, walk into my garage, close it behind me, a d strip down to my underclothing. Then I would enter my home and make a beeline straight to the shower. That smell was all in my nostrils, my skin, and embedded in the fibers of my uniform.
I had a place like that too 🤩! Sewage treatment plant for an entire city! You get used to the dudu smell. However every few days the Sulfur dioxide alarm would go off!, making it an automatic day off! We suspected plantroom guys tripping it to go home every few days!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Good video Rookie ! If you know the coolers may stink , Bring in your respirator with you. I have a Respirator I use when I’m Running Buffered Hydrochloric acid in open cooling towers to descale tubes and I can stand in front of the hydrochloric acid fumes and I can’t smell anything but , fresh air. The hydrochloric acid will change the color of my Tshirt , but I can’t smell the fumes. Respirators for the Win !!!
Too bad they would rather waste product than pay overtime, but that is how it goes sometimes. I can only imagine the smells though, looks like they serve food as well with all the cookers and such. That really gives me some chills though.
Just another day in an asian restaurant. Been in a couple that leave the meat out in kitchen in 5 gallon buckets to marinate smelled like a dumpster in August 🤮
I did Maintenance for a Company that Processed Slaughterhouse remains 50 foot Trailers Would Spread the remains of Animals onto a concrete Pad where they were then fed into a Machine that would grind it all up. The Smell I'll never forget the Smell.

That explains why cooler #2 and 3 had trash cans outside of them. That way there is somewhere for the workers to puke.
