Despite all the OEM 4.3 to 5.7 Hackery, its an honest GMC. The feedback altitude compensation hanger and electric fuel pump and V6 to V8 hose weirdness. The oxidation is impressive within this one. Its a Great 🔧 Wrench Engine! 🥝✔️
It does run decent, there's something going on with the carburetor. It doesn't want to idle. So maybe vacuum leaks and/or the idle circuit in the carb is clogged. The vacuum lines are a mess also. I'll also probably try to get the clutch hydraulics working too.
