Nice, I just ordered a pair of these. Dropped my Rebel 500 twice now (doing slow turns) and lucky no engine damage but I did ruin my grips and front brake lever 🤦🏻♂️can’t wait to install these and practice more on my slow maneuvers.
I watched your video and ordered from amazon. I have the 2017 cmx500 and they fit perfectly. They're great to use as foot rests on the highway. The stock bolt required a 14mm socket and the frameslider needed a 17mm. Id rrally like to see what it looks like with the belly fairing. Thanks for the video, perfect explanation 👌
Hey Stelth, I've thought about getting the frame slider's, yet, wasn't sure how they'd fit with an engine guard on the bike. You've done a great job of a video presentation on how to do it, and, make it look good! Also, is the "lower nose piece" to cover the exhaust header pipes-a clean finished appearance down front so it doesn't look "empty" & wide open for problems to be had. Doug🏍️👍🦅😇😎🤐🧸🐻
Will these interfere with red dragon forward controls, I am thinking of the sliders for my rebel cml 500 , but it’s a 2023 model and I don’t like the crash bars as they look to bulky, and I have seen some with a brace that go to the back of the engine bolt that’s part of the engine heath , thinking in a crash it could brake off the bolt and the engine head .
Nice work!! Now… drop it… lol jk. Curious on how well these will hold up. My wife will be riding mine next year… so I’m in the works of adding protection to the bike as well. Great idea with the frame sliders. (Although I went a different route) Keep up the great work man!!
@@MotoGearSolid the tire may be one of your biggest issues… the Du lopes are really bad… when I went to the C3’s the bike felt so much better. I’d love to see what your thoughts are after you swap those out. Again man, great content.
Just curious , have you put your feet on them to relax because I was thinking the same thing as I'm cheap and really didn't want to move the mid controls
@@MotoGearSolid good call. Really not a fan of any Dunlop motorcycle tire at all... And I used to work for Goodyear/Dunlop lol. Love a handful of Goodyear models of tires, but Dunlop? Nope

My bolts won't come loose on the frame. They are too tight. Any advice?
What screw size are those, please? I have the big bar, as it was for the 300, I now need 2 big screw but have no idea of their sizes.
Have you put the belly cover on yet?

A good upgrade for the bike.
"this is basically a sport bike disguised as a cruiser" what makes you say that? Genuine question - only been riding for like 3 weeks

it works with 1100?
Looking good👌 what year are the tires from and how many km on them?

No screw washer needed?
