      Thanks for the input. I have a 2014 Yamaha Bolt that I made club style, but that lack of a sixth gear is making me consider other options. I was looking into either the stryker or the raider, but I only weigh 125 lb at 5'5", so I'm trying to stick to the midsize cruiser.

    Owning both Harley and Hondas, i do love my Hondas a little more then my Harley, THAT being said, i have to say nothing really beats that sound from a Harley, nothing really matches that. I've heard a few Yamahas that sounded pretty close and REALLY good, but that sound of a Harley is hard to beat. I do love the new Rebel line. I'm not dissing the sound, it does sound good, and this bike is on my list of bikes to buy if i ever won the lotto. To kinda reiterate my point, a new Mustang sounds clean and good, and it's obviously faster then an old one, but nothing beats the sound from a fox body that's been cammed, and modded, although no where NEAR the HP of a newer one, but the old fox body 5.0s just sounded mean.

    It doesn’t sound terrible, I like the sound but I disagree with it sounding better than an HD.
    There was a shadow 750 I had that gave the sporty 1200 I own now a run for it’s money on which sounded better. I don’t recall what it had since it was on before I got it but it sounded good.
    The sporty has V&H straight shots with no baffles.

    Don't you have to make modifications to the air / fuel mixture, or timing when you change the back pressure with a straight pipe? Or is that just old thinking?

      God your such a child. Im glad I can enjoy all sorts of motorcycles unlike you. Keep only riding sport bikes while us "HD guys" enjoy the beautiful sounds and style of a Harley. The speed of a sport bike. The joy of an adventure bike. The thrill of jumping a dirt bike. And of course all the brands that make bikes that do all those things. Why be a prick about it. Grow up, some people like different things than you.

    1:37 please watch a video on why "back pressure" is bad and something that you dont want. Because you might just use the wrong terminology for what you actually mean. My recommendation would be the video from Engineering Explained.

    • @meridionreftaghn3971
      @meridionreftaghn3971 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It just says that Harley has been building the same ole cruisers for decades. And Honda just released a mid-size cruiser with the 1100. And just hit the mark too, it's not super expensive, it looks fantastic, it's light, it's got enough power to weight so you don't feel like driving a car... if you're not totally over (as in pushing 60 and about to have a coronary) and still enjoy dynamic riding, this bike offers sth. Harley doesn't offer.

    With this exhaust, would it be possible to add a rear seat and have a passenger on the back? Or is the pipe in the way of where they would sit? Same question regarding saddle bags or other storage.
