So glad to have seen ur video. I was a little down this morning about food….but when I saw your recipes….i realized that there are more foods that I can add in. Thks for the encouragement!! I subscribed! Ahna. Atlanta. Ga.
I’m reviewing ur recipe videos and enjoying them…..and my success with doable low carb/no sugar, etc foods…..that u show there. I look at many videos and other Docs and I feel so good about my progress toward meal 🥘 changes! Thks again Shelly. 👏👏👏👍
I got 24 silicone muffin cups from Amazon for $8 and it is well worth it. I use them all the time and they are extremely easy to clean and to remove the muffins of any type.
I just found your channel and I love you. You are wonderful. I am just starting keto and I’m not losing any weight like you said so now I’m using your tips. Thank you so much. I hope you keep the videos coming.
Put the lid of your jars until hot running water to give it a chance for the metal to expand. Take a tea-towel and grip the lid and try to turn it. Often that is enough, while you are still young and strong. As you get older, you may need a tool that breaks the seal on the lid to allow easier opening. I was given one many years ago by a very nice company that sells the olives I like.
Silicon molds are great for a lot of things, I especially like using them to freeze portions and pop them in a bag and into the freezer. Its great for meal prep. Tip: Hand wash them and rinse well, it loves to hold the taste of the soap you use on it.
I am most terribly sorry I really couldn’t possibly follow what you were saying due to your fast talking! I really would have LOVED to understand your explanations about this terrible illness which I have had for 20 years type 2 diabetic! I shall from time to time visit your site & I might just be able to follow what you are saying! Very many thanks for sharing!
Shelly to open lids on jars i use my bottle opener the one that opens beer bottles if you just hook it under the jar lid in a couple of places then it loosens it.I have just found your channel as i am pre diabetic and your recipes are amazing and quick thank you x Elaine from the UK
You should keep an eye on ALDI ads. They have the muffin/cupcake silicone pans every so often and are usually under $5. I paid $3.99 fir mine a year ago. I still spray the silicone one but i love how you can pop things out easier with your fingers. I am a messy person so i always put my silicone pans on a my cheap pizza tin pan.
What you can do is hit the bottom of the bottle to sort of pop the top. Then I use two holders that have grip on them and they look like a waffle. Place the bottle on the counter on one of the grips and then with the other turn the top. Try that to see if it works. thank you.
good video . take the heel of your hand whack it on bottom of the jar. If lucky you will burst air pocket allowing you to open jar. Other wise take your rubber glove you probably have for washing dishes use that to open jar Wrap it over the top and turn
I love your quick, easy, healthy ideas, Shelly. I like your approach! I'm with you in that! XG Ire PS is there much water coming out of the cooked egg muffin from the frozen broccoli?
Eggs are healthy for us! Full of important nutrients….and the lecithin in them counteracts any cholesterol in them. Those who allergic to eggs….by all means do what u need to. Ahna
Hi, newly prediabetic......Does this egg cup have to be refrigerated and reheated? Does spinach make it too runny? Could I add meat? How can I keep my avocado from browning in fridge once cut?
You can refrigerate and reheat! Not runny at all and you can add any meat you would like!! I wish I had the secret to keeping avocado from going brown!!
I love these meals. I'll still do my oats with cinnamon in the morning and have these meals for lunch. I do find that cheese spikes my sugar, though. Pls advise how/why that happens?
Gotta be honest here: for the last week I've had 4 put of 6 grandchildren. Because of that I haven't eaten like I should. Next week I'll be super strict to get back on track with eating right.
I scramble my eggs and add cottage cheese to increase volume. Eggs are expensive! Also, I measure out each ingredient shredded cheese, diced onion, spinach, etc. into each cup. This way, every egg cup is the same consistency. The way you did it, one cup had a glob of cheese...just saying.
Will you pahleeze stop with the boogie in the bayou nonsensense and talking about how your equipment is not fancy. NOBODY CARES. people are tuning in for nutrition information and ideas to help them eat better. And...u really have good info too. People will buy whatever brand or use whatever tools they feel like. You do you. We'll do us.

Eggs aren't bad for people who eat low carb everyday. Not all the prepackaged crap people eat. Thank you Shelly. Great recipes. Only real ingredients.
Hugs!!

Thanks for the tip! Will try!
Use a butter knife (or an old school “church key”) to pop that lid. Easy peasy.
Thank you for the tip!
Or just an ordinary old dinner knife. Slide it under the lid and twist it gently until it unseals the lid.
@@PennJK17 Thank you!
They do a battery jar opener. Those jars no trouble. My last one lasted for 17 years. Not the battery's, of course. Love your channel
I need one of those!

Turn the bottle upside down and kinda drop it on it's top a few time a little hard, but not hard enough to break it
and it should open for you
Great tip!!! Need to do this!!!
Run the lid under hot water. It will "melt" the glued seal.

To open the container just bang it on the counter on the lid all the way around and walla

Tap the corner of that jar 2-3 taps and it loosens
Ok awesome!
That 'pretend pour' sent me. 😂😂😂
HAHAAHA! Hugs!
