Since we lost Chris Cornell back in 2017, Stapleton's been my favourite living singer/songwriter.... & the BB King -esque less-is-more lyrical blues guitar jam he goes with at the end of this performance (kudos to the bass player for creating the platform for it to work btw) is right up my alley. Great stuff. Glad to see there's a new album coming too. :)

Check out Chris Stapleton from his (southern rock) The Jompson Brothers days. "Inside Your Head" & his acoustic version of "Barely Alive" are killers! TJB only recorded one album but it's bangin! I think you'll dig his cover of the Allman Brothers hit "Whipping Post" (LIVE, of course)! His latest album Starting Over is BADASS! "Watch You Burn" (about the Vegas concert shootings) and "Cold" are amazing cuts! Actually, the whole album is! You can go wayyy back to 2006 & see him on a songwriters cruise doing "Fool Me Again". (Chris was only 27 or so & still believed he DIDN'T have a "singing" voice!? We're all very lucky that he got over that crazy notion!) Peace, love and stay safe! 🔥🤘
