What I love about your art is that your use blender in GI professionally and proudly like me in your workflow and honestly speaking with experience people don't even care about the software of use in your CG but the beauty of the art😁
This is dope man, sucks when people on tiktok just steals your video and doesn't give you any credits, gotta 1 up them next time by posting it before them on tiktok lol.
brilliant work, just add some metallic roughness to the textures(metal edge wear, dust), it is looking too shiny, and some camera gain will also help getting a realistic look. Your overall work is mind blowing, Amazinggggggg !
Thanks. There are marks and scratches on it, they're just more subtle than the last video. I based it off the scene in the third film where he's just made the shot so it's very clean
At around 4:20 you mention that you exported your HDRI from ptgui with the ACEScg color space. I dont have PTGui but I figured I could bring my hdri into Danvinci and then export the hdri with the ACEScg color space like you did with PTgui. In the Davinci project settings, I set the color science to ACEScc. My question is, should I set the input transform to ACEScg or the Output Transform to ACEScg? or both?
Best one yet, good sir! So good! As for what's next...how about a deeper dive on tracking. Like the real head-banging-on-desk difficult type LOL. Idk...do you prefer tracking in Blender to Nuke? Or does it just depend on the shot?
Thanks John! That's a good idea. I'll put it on my list. I use both. I tend to lean towards Nuke but I did about 75% of these shots in nuke and a few in Blender if I wasn't getting a result I liked in Nuke. Sometimes just using a different tool fixed the problem
I really wonder why your video don't get viral on TH-cam, Your content is pretty Good as compare to other. I wish your videos will get millions of views someday 🙏
Thanks! A lot of the time it doesn't matter how good the video is. It needs to be on a channel with enough of an audience to gain exponential growth straight after being uploaded. When it was on a big tiktok channel it got enough views to get boosted by the algorithm. But unfortunately on my channel it didn't really perform much better than an average video
So I just subscribed to your patrion today and I downloaded this iron man model but how do you change it from purple yellow and green to how it’s actually supposed to the yellow red metallic look.
The wrong colours will be due to missing image textures. The ones for the materials are included in the blender file but you will need to replace the HDRI with the one on Patreon as it doesnt link in the blender file automatically. You'll also need to replace the projection frame in the material for the holdouts that are projecting one frame of the footage on the set geo
Thanks! It's a Canon 24-70 f2.8 L. We used it for every shot at various focal lengths. I have lens grids for it at 24, 35, 50 and 70 which is great for the VFX workflow! The camera is my Sony A7iii with an Atomos Ninja Flame monitor recording 4K ProResHQ to an SSD instead of the cameras internal memory card. Really helps get more out of the camera
I've moved on from this project now I'm afraid. I don't tend to make too in depth tutorials because spelling out every single step would make the videos hours long. These sorts of effects aren't something for beginners so I don't cater my breakdown videos to people just starting in VFX. The idea is people with a bit more knowledge will be able to follow along without me showing every single button. I'd love to be able to help everyone but I'm just not interested in making really in depth videos
I'll have to see how it goes. A lot of my audience don't need a step by step tutorial so it's not always worth the time to do so. I do have a whole playlist of tutorials for my previous iron man video that you could checkout. The steps are similar
Broo Such a nice tutorial ! even that same pakistani guy uploaded my video on tiktok ! unfortunately ticktok is banned in india but anyways ! cheers to you I loved it !
hello sir, i am actually a student from india ,i want the project files but i don,t have card and i can't access any either...can u please add UPI or BANK transfer like method please... i really want those project files....Please I can PAY 1 USD but problem is I don't have the way...hope you will notice...and give me a idea

Yo this is too good and I was trying to do it myself but it was just so complicated and I’ve never done vfx or animations in my life. But the reason I’ve been trying to make this is because I’m build an homemade marvel universe and I’m recreating scenes from films. So I ask you please just this one time if I could send you some clips on gmail of me to recreate this awesome iron man 3 scene just this one time and I will give credit to you in the video! So please bro, you’re the only underrated creator I’ve seen do this, so please man I pray and I hope you say yes! 🤞🏽 oh and one last thing it will be posted on my other channel Kih Recreations.
Sorry, your comment got flagged as spam for some reason! I've just approved it so I've only just seen it. But I'm afraid I can't do your shots for you. It takes a very long time to make these kind of videos. I can't help everyone that wants me to do it for them too
It's lots of tricks and hiding things really! I start with them all in the final position and then animate backwards to make them come off. For the bits that just fly on it's easier but for the smaller parts that slide into place etc it's a lot of moving and rotating them and scaling them down to 0 so they disappear inside the other parts to hide the transitions
So a phone recording? A video camera recording? What sort of recording was it? And was this all one recording but you moved the camera around in blender to make those other shots? Sorry for all the questions.
I have a 6 part in depth tutorial playlist from the last one I did that you will probably be able to follow. Although if you literally know nothing about Blender it will probably still be a bit advanced
Oh man the video stealing sucks. That's so horribly disingenuous. You shouldn't have to ask for credit. Atleast you know you've made it once ppl start stealing stuff /hj
Cool!! The tracking is flawless!
Thanks dude!

I'm glad I could help, I've been following your channel for a while and you deserve all this recognition. And awesome video btw :)
Much appreciated Kevin! 👍
The matching blacks tip was a huge help to me. Thanks!

One of the best videos I’ve seen lately. Everything looks awesome

just so amzing man, i know how long this takes, probably took months, not 17 mins but i think you did great

Yeah that will still work. The output transform should be acesCG and the input should be whatever colourspace it's in initially. Presumably linear

@@AlfieVaughan yea it is rlly hard tho I've tried to do it but everytime I just end up sticking to 2d 😅
