Its good to be back. I’ve watch this a long time ago and it lingers on me but forget what was the title because i just click on ramdom videos that leads me here. Their passion and their thinking captivates me and im happy that I get to rewatch it again. Never fails to amaze me. Such a wonderful persons 💕
Still finding this video after 3 years! It surely had a great spot on my heart! I am a business owner now for 2 years and this means a lot now that I can truly understand them.
As someone who makes sourdough bread for a hobby, I can guarantee that it is an extremely fun and interesting yet impossibly difficult task. There are so many variables that go into bread making and it is very easy to mess up one and ruin the entire batch. But when you bake a successful loaf, it is the most satisfying thing in the world.
I am a long suffering Chef with shift work insomnia and this heartfelt Artisan beauty from Wide Awake Bakery evoked warmth and triptoesan(sic) like endorphins that make you snooze like a baby. Cheers for the closest thing to smellavision.
There's something really beautiful about Baking Bread, and I love the way you guys make it. If I lived there, I would probably want to work for you. I've been trying to figure out how to bake breads for a while now. I probably would be a happy baker, like you guys. Keep making the breads with love, passion and joy!
I've been trying to bake sourdough bread since 2011. Haven't perfected yet; however, will soldier on and never give up. Love watching videos about sourdough bread; so many variations.
ChuckNoctis There is some truth in that actually. I am baker myself and I watch out how my flour is aging and how well it's absorbing it's moisture content. Not all flours are the same

My staple food is rice, we cook our own rice very often. And it is quite easy to do it. As I can see, bread making is time and labour consuming. I wonder why bread is staple food in Europe, but not porridge. Which needs much less skill to prepare, causes less wastage.
I don´t know exactly why that is, but i guess it is less time consuming, because you only have to bake (or buy) bread once a week and have food all the week, instead of cooking (rice or what ever) every day.
Also the type of breads they are doing use the lactobascillus bacteria that occur natural on human hands during the overnight autolyse process. It’s a short fermentation process that gives the bread a deapth of flavor. Make the dough the day before, let its ferment overnight, bake at 4am sell out by noon

I love how he compared bread-making to dancing. It's very inspiring watching someone speak so profoundly of their passion in life.

Lol
I can _eat_ a burger while watching a slaughterhouse. I'd be disturbed but that's not stopping my love for burgers.
where are their gloves?
