Recently a restaurant manager told me, and I quote, "we can't win them all". We just move forward and keep up our good service. When i have a KFC pick up the app tells me that there are drinks with the order even if there aren't any, and in order to confirm the order it asks me to confirm that I have picked up the drinks even if there are NO drinks!!! in that case I message the customer and hope they answer. it might be our responsibility to deliver the complete order but the staff should also know what they are selling...

Some restaurants put other items like desserts under the drink category. In that case, the dasher app will prompt about drinks even if there's no drinks.
It sucks about the account issues. Can you go online yet? If not, you might have to drive to your closest greenlight hub to get it fixed. Looks like you got your steps in, especially that confusing apartment lol. One of the bad things about working in new areas. Workers will ask you to confirm because you're a new face to them. In my regular area, they know me before I even show my phone to them haha. Good luck out there :)
Hello thank you! Yeah although I have not exercised at all, but running around finding customer in apartments really helped get my steps in haha! So I wasn't able to go online, but it has been resolved now after I took a new profile picture. I do not like it but im not gonna go through hassle of asking them to change it anymore haha.

It was 1000 percent the guy you forgot the drinks for. The only way he can get the order refunded is to report you. Otherwise he'd have to contact BK directly which is an absolute nightmare to do. Just know any problems the restaurant has with your order is more than likely always going to effect you in some way because its always easier to report the driver than to contact the business.
That sucks I was like tempted to give us thumbs down but it’s not your fault lol and I’m not sure what time zone does but I’m down to Burger King for sure and to the fact that restaurant mistakes impact us so greatly. Oh the guy who didn’t get his order cause staff asked me if there were drinks or not. That was door dash. The report about someone else using my account was Uber Eats.

You shouldn't need to update your picture. You should have just called Uber, and been adamant that no one else is using your account, and that maybe it was just a disgruntled customer. You may have already uploaded your new profile pic, but some advice, is that you can actually use pictures from your "camera roll." I recently changed my old picture, and snapped about 30-40 pictures...I just chose what I thought was the best. Also, I can promise you that you won't get deactivated. At the end of the day, you are doing good work for them, and are making them money.

It's prob like u said a disgruntled customer, but it really sucks when you're put to blame through no fault of your own and something u have no control over. I've watched u since the start of the channel, and u have always been completely professional, courteous and polite to everyone u interact with. In fact, I wish more delivery drivers were like u, so I can't understand what the problem could be. I'm confident things will work out so try not to let it bother u. For what's it's worth, we ur viewers can all vouch for u. Keep up the great work!
I've had a customer try to say it wasn't me who delivered his order on UE before. The guy was a dick for no reason and also gave me a thumbs down. I called Uber support and they took care of it no problem.

I did ask restaurant were there drinks not sure why they can’t see that there were, it was some combo thing that was supposed to have it. Doesn’t say on my phone. At that point I just thought doing so is not calculated in my pay tho so I didn’t know what to do and if going back they will give it to me or not because order was not even on my phone anymore. Even when order was on my phone they didn’t give it to me. Oh well and in the case that house is further and this happens it will be hard to give good customer service like going back 5 miles or something and not get paid but I know what you mean!
People will do that just because they know you have a TH-cam channel and they're trying to throw you under the bus. So they will report you for any little thing to try to get you deactivated to prevent you from making money. It's really messed up. I'm sorry that somebody did that to you.
Thats stupid. In my photo I have braids and makeup, but since then my hair has changed and most days I don't wear makeup because its 120° in Arizona. So we dont always look like the photo.

I had an old 50 or 100$ phone or something I think from Walmart where I used the audio recorder, I think it was a built in app or something but it was very clear, just an idea, although the audio sounds a bit like how a scary movie would begin right before someone gets murdered or something. I think it was from the At&t carrier, I sold it for 50$ on ebay, and actually it was about 100
The people who live in those massive apartment complexes with gate codes and no parking situations are total 🤡 clowns for expecting us to find them in those frickin mazes with no help. They should go get their own food. Obviously it's too much trouble for them getting in and out of those places so they put the burden on us to do their dirty work and then they often don't even tip much.

How far away was the Burger King? To be honest I probably would’ve run back to get it if it wasn’t super far. But I definitely would’ve got support on the line. The problem is you wanna hit that you delivered because you don’t want to hit your on time score. And then they don’t know what order you’re talking about. It’s a conundrum.

@@JourneyRideAlong That happened to me at Chick fil A. Just screenshot the order and mark as delivered then go back and get the drinks (especially by talking to that same BK guy). It wastes a little bit of your time and gas since it's close by, but it'll prevent an unhappy customer and you might get a little bit more tip. I would but the store thought there’s none. so I would go in with no proof it’s a door dash order with drinks. Sounds selfish but problem would be solved if staff knew that bundle had drinks , I literally thought the bundle means only burgers.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a triple stack but since he was the third order, if I remember correctly, he might’ve just been pissed it took a while especially if he paid priority, which we don’t even see at least on DoorDash nor does the merchant, so we have no clue…. And the customer doesn’t know they’re sending us to multiple customers necessarily. Between that and the fact that he thought maybe you know what to do about parking maybe he thought it was your sister or something. Since you asked I mean I’m just watching on my iPhone so it’s very small but while maybe you don’t look identical to the photo - you don’t look like another person. A lot of people have their hair straight Somedays, and not others. Not even sure if I would’ve asked to update the picture I would’ve just been like it’s me with my hair, not straight, but curly. You’re so thin I can’t imagine, but unless you gained a lot from back then since you mentioned that. Anyway, I am done babbling on your video. But tho I had some interruptions, I did see it all! I am so used to seeing my Uber driver and know it’s not the same person in the picture. Tonight, I did not get a straw or utensils or the side of sauce I paid for. Also, he told me in broken English, no ketchup… “no English” I’m so sick of people using other peoples accounts they needed to get their own account or get a job in general
So his profile picture didnt match? After years some people just glows down I mean you can complain if the service is bad but not when people report wrong info when they are actually the owner. Some times you need to call them while theyre at the store nothing they can do when they already at your home tho.
I strongly believe you could have handled that customer with the no drinks better. As a driver it’s your responsibility to get the customer his CORRECT order. If that means you forgot the drinks, you go back to the store and get his drinks. That customer walked away with an upside down smile which is the opposite of how he should walk away. It might take time or miles away from you but it will put a smile back on your customers face whom also tipped you $6.00. Your ratings especially matter to door dash if you want Top Dasher. With incidents such as this will definitely effect your ratings negatively. If this happened to me you would get a one star. From Dasher to Dasher
Before I left, the staff and I looked at the screen and we confirmed no drinks. I don’t know how to reverse that by going back without the order on me anymore. Even with the order the staff didn’t know if there were drinks or if there were what it was, to begin with. That was the problem not that it was sitting there or anything.
From Dasher to Dasher LOL. if you ask them is this all and they look at the screen and confirm its on them. you as a driver do not work at the store. its not your job to check there menu for the correct food its the stores job. if you as a store customer do not know what is in the order its on YOU
I would have done the same and just gone back and said that's bk problem with the app and I'll be happy to get you the drink. Most of the time the restaurant will just give you the drink if you explain the problem. Especially if they did tip and was door dash because the tip is accounted for unlike Uber. If I make a mistake I will just say to take my tip away.
I know that you meant this with good intentions, so I pressed like first of all any engagement helps the channel; but also yeah, unless it was like 20 miles away I could be wrong, but I thought you said it was like a mile and I personally would’ve asked for a manager and asked what is in this bundle and maybe the ordered thru the merchant like you said so you don’t have the exact list…. But I started watching earlier and I just got back from 17. 75 10 mile each way -it didn’t go up but better than the first two which equals $12 total. And I had my day is wrong so I ended my dash early thinking my son needed the car. So I’m gonna watch the rest now but yeah, like if you’re in doubt just contact the customer. I mean if they try to scam a couple of drinks off of you well the restaurant should know so it’s not your fault. But we all live and learn, so just take it with the best of intentions and do with it what you will and just move forward. I know it’s stressful out there. But I do grumble to myself, but I will go the extra mile if I messed up even if it’s questionable whether it was me or the person at the restaurant just because I’m too afraid to go to bad rating. I’m afraid of that for no reason let alone something that I could understand in a way if they did. And I just put myself in their shoes like it’s not cheap to order whether you can afford it or not. So, but if it was really far then I would just contact support and go from there I guess. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!!!

How far away was the Burger King? To be honest I probably would’ve run back to get it if it wasn’t super far. But I definitely would’ve got support on the line. The problem is you wanna hit that you delivered because you don’t want to hit your on time score. And then they don’t know what order you’re talking about. It’s a conundrum.
Not that far actually, Yeah that’s is the exact problem if I were to go back before I left staff confirmed looking at my screen of no mention of a drink. But that 1 item bundle includes a drink 🤦♀️ I’m not sure if it just said drink on his end but he didn’t know what it was or why he wanted to confirm on my screen too. Yea no more order proof if I were to go back. Support told me for customer to contact merchant.
@@JourneyRideAlong That happened to me at Chick fil A. Just screenshot the order and mark as delivered then go back and get the drinks (especially by talking to that same BK guy). It wastes a little bit of your time and gas since it's close by, but it'll prevent an unhappy customer and you might get a little bit more tip. Thanks for sharing so now we can learn from this experience :)

Yeah, they definitely shouldn’t have somebody brand new, which I’m guessing this person might’ve been packaging the DoorDash or other delivery orders.
I would've driven back to Burger King and gotten the customer his missing drinks.
I would but the store thought there’s none. so I would go in with no proof it’s a door dash order with drinks. Sounds selfish but problem would be solved if staff knew that bundle had drinks , I literally thought the bundle means only burgers.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a triple stack but since he was the third order, if I remember correctly, he might’ve just been pissed it took a while especially if he paid priority, which we don’t even see at least on DoorDash nor does the merchant, so we have no clue…. And the customer doesn’t know they’re sending us to multiple customers necessarily. Between that and the fact that he thought maybe you know what to do about parking maybe he thought it was your sister or something. Since you asked I mean I’m just watching on my iPhone so it’s very small but while maybe you don’t look identical to the photo - you don’t look like another person. A lot of people have their hair straight Somedays, and not others. Not even sure if I would’ve asked to update the picture I would’ve just been like it’s me with my hair, not straight, but curly. You’re so thin I can’t imagine, but unless you gained a lot from back then since you mentioned that. Anyway, I am done babbling on your video. But tho I had some interruptions, I did see it all!

I am so used to seeing my Uber driver and know it’s not the same person in the picture. Tonight, I did not get a straw or utensils or the side of sauce I paid for. Also, he told me in broken English, no ketchup… “no English” I’m so sick of people using other peoples accounts they needed to get their own account or get a job in general
So his profile picture didnt match? After years some people just glows down I mean you can complain if the service is bad but not when people report wrong info when they are actually the owner. Some times you need to call them while theyre at the store nothing they can do when they already at your home tho.

I strongly believe you could have handled that customer with the no drinks better. As a driver it’s your responsibility to get the customer his CORRECT order. If that means you forgot the drinks, you go back to the store and get his drinks. That customer walked away with an upside down smile which is the opposite of how he should walk away. It might take time or miles away from you but it will put a smile back on your customers face whom also tipped you $6.00. Your ratings especially matter to door dash if you want Top Dasher. With incidents such as this will definitely effect your ratings negatively. If this happened to me you would get a one star. From Dasher to Dasher
Before I left, the staff and I looked at the screen and we confirmed no drinks. I don’t know how to reverse that by going back without the order on me anymore. Even with the order the staff didn’t know if there were drinks or if there were what it was, to begin with. That was the problem not that it was sitting there or anything.

From Dasher to Dasher LOL. if you ask them is this all and they look at the screen and confirm its on them. you as a driver do not work at the store. its not your job to check there menu for the correct food its the stores job. if you as a store customer do not know what is in the order its on YOU
I would have done the same and just gone back and said that's bk problem with the app and I'll be happy to get you the drink. Most of the time the restaurant will just give you the drink if you explain the problem. Especially if they did tip and was door dash because the tip is accounted for unlike Uber. If I make a mistake I will just say to take my tip away.
I know that you meant this with good intentions, so I pressed like first of all any engagement helps the channel; but also yeah, unless it was like 20 miles away I could be wrong, but I thought you said it was like a mile and I personally would’ve asked for a manager and asked what is in this bundle and maybe the ordered thru the merchant like you said so you don’t have the exact list…. But I started watching earlier and I just got back from 17. 75 10 mile each way -it didn’t go up but better than the first two which equals $12 total. And I had my day is wrong so I ended my dash early thinking my son needed the car. So I’m gonna watch the rest now but yeah, like if you’re in doubt just contact the customer. I mean if they try to scam a couple of drinks off of you well the restaurant should know so it’s not your fault.
But we all live and learn, so just take it with the best of intentions and do with it what you will and just move forward. I know it’s stressful out there.
But I do grumble to myself, but I will go the extra mile if I messed up even if it’s questionable whether it was me or the person at the restaurant just because I’m too afraid to go to bad rating. I’m afraid of that for no reason let alone something that I could understand in a way if they did. And I just put myself in their shoes like it’s not cheap to order whether you can afford it or not. So, but if it was really far then I would just contact support and go from there I guess.
