You can do any hairstyle and adjust how you see fit no matter what race the people are and what type of hair they have. That’s why the series is called “I don’t see texture”....

This just goes to show that natural hair, especially STRETCHED natural hair can do a lot of the same styles as other hair types. You may have to approach it slightly differently, but with patience and TLC you can really use your hair's versatility to your advantage, plus you have extra fullness and structure and don't have to worry about a style falling flat.
I'm sooo jealous! I wish I had someone show me all these awesome styles when I was young enough to wear them! (I could wear them now but I no longer have the energy to stand in front of the mirror and work out these knots!) Okay but just the fact that you didn't give up at all, is good enough for me! The faux side bang with the bun was my favorite. I sometimes do a faux bang, but I do it by just leaving a section of hair out in the front and and picking it out a bit or just coiling it. I might have to try it with the bun tho.
