- I picked the worst possible day of weather to head down to Valley Hybrids and start the Orion transfer case build. Half of California was under water and the rest was blowing away in a hurricane. Georg and I still managed assemble to transfer case, without too many mistakes. I really didn't do much, so this video is an offering to the people on how to do it correctly. I'll have a few more videos to follow for those building at home. Plenty of good tips and tricks. As always, please contact Georg at Valley Hybrids (209)475-8808 for anything you need. Also, I'm on instagram if you ever need to reach out @1projectwrongway

Valley has saved me so much time over the years, really love buying from this shop.
He’s the man, or at least one of them I turn to for help.
George just makes it look so easy!
He is amazing.
Can’t wait to see the finished product.
He’s a trans wizard for sure!
Georg is a true artist and his work is stunning. I wish you all the best! 👍👏👏👏😍
Appreciate it bro!
"Does this guy know how to party or what?"... Great video!
Wayne’s World baby!
Georg is the best in the business. Talented, humble and honest. Only one I’d trust with my Land Cruisers!
Does more with one eye than I could do with four.
Awesome! This is on my to do list. Love all these tips
Trying to keep the info fresh, there’s plenty more to do though!
This is great. Best episode ever. 100!
Crazy to think how many episodes we’ve done!
That will be a game changer being able to stay off the clutch
Right?! I’ll finally be able to ease up a bit and drive more.
George: giving excellent insight.
Ben: “All I can imagine are a couple of balls hanging there”
😂😂😂
It’s like I have it on the brain…
Well done on 100 episodes mate!
Trippy eh? Can’t believe I managed to keep after it for this long.
use grease on the backside fo the idler shaft bearings to help hold them in place and then a slim jim tool can hold the smaller gear side bearing in as you work it in
Thanks for the tip hog man!
Nice Cool people talking land cruisers. Do a shop walk around/tour before you go. Thanks for the video.
Surround yourself with the right people.
It’s always nice to have someone close by that has done the job before . This transfer case is trickier than a Dana 20 , I would say . Gee wiz mr. Ben , that insert of the engine pull gone wrong reminds me of how I always get a bit queezy with an engine and trans on the hook . Yes , we need to improve our 2 ton lifts . By the time we get the boom out to reach the engine , it’s now a 1/2 ton lift .
Well , I’m behind on views , on to part three . Don’t worry miss Raechel , won’t be long now . Your FJ be crawling up rock with ease !
I’m just grateful no Ben’s and Raechel’s were harmed in the process 😬 . Perish the thought , bite my tongue 😳 . Please be careful , love you guys ( and girls ) ❤
I’d like to source a post lift… would be game changer.
Amazing how similar those are to the Dana 300 transfer cases....
It’s almost like there’s some higher power designing these…
@@projectwrongway9127 I've never heard of American engineering as a higher power. I will NOT be telling my engineering wife those words, there would be way too much head swelling
It’s out there, right next to Henry Fords assembly line.
Can I buy a shirt in the shop? I will be doing a trip from AK to Grand Junction CO in May. Traveling the west coast thru Cali to my hometown which is not far from Stockton, then to CO (Via Las Vegas). Driving my 80 series and will spend a few days in Moab.
Yes! He’s got them there and always appreciates a visit.
Sweet! I got like #69! Lucky.
You know how much I care about that number.
