@ToolswithSoAlz I'm calling foul on the wife being happy. The vibration only makes them happy till they get used to it, then it's on to the next thing. Mine uses a concrete vibratory and is looking for an upgrade!
Just found your videos and have to say very educational. I am looking to get some power tools for work around the house and wondered if you had any recommendations. Like drills, circular saws and things like that.
Most brands are good enough to get you by but if you're going to be a professional you'll need to make an investment into something good. Dewalt, Milwaukee, Metabo, Ridgid are all very good
I would appreciate a short video on the best techniques for removing a broken tool from the collet. If all else fails, could you partially disassemble the DCF860 to get the broken tool out?
You don't need to disassemble the tool. Take a very small flathead screwdriver, place it under the collet, push out, and tap the back with a hammer lightly a couple of times. I've never had one that wouldn't come out that way
Do you do longevity tests like driving 10,000 screws or something like that? It would be interesting to see when/if each brand fails, then as a follow up what service center provides better service in regards to fixing the issue or straight replacement (I would suspect the latter). I think theres more to a tool then just how fast it drives or what one drives smoother, I use a drill/driver pretty much all day and to be honest I have never really found that much of a difference between any of the "big brands" they all eventually fail from what i have seen.
I think longevity test really hard because everyone using them different, of course 10 inch screws all day more wear than little screws and the larger stuff can break tools on one shot new or old . Start messing with laws nature shit just breaks sometimes prematurely. I seen other tool channel that’s all scientific with all the measuring tools , he beats them so much like solarz does just more heavy duty tools , but small Milwaukee gen 4 impact we all think is the best has been breaking , after his broke he learned about half the purchases were having issues , he takes gun apart shows why not with fixing just the part have buy whole assembly so if not on warranty throw it out , now I still use brushed Milwaukee, I would not want the gen 4 over the 3 knowing the 3 last
Doesnt look like it competes with other brands looks like it is in its own category. This is just proof dewalt is the best they never made a impact this string because they feel it's not necessary. And they are right it's not. But they have to please their fans.
Milwaukee beats still , I think Milwaukee going lose durability now though , I wouldn’t say dewalt in its own class above 👆 though . All pretty comparable now
why is it that dewalt released this to the asian market first and also the dcd1007 ?the dcf860 is now available here in the uk ? surely they would release it in the us first ?
I have a feeling these are going to have issues like the Milwaukees over not much time. They make them so powerful but so tiny that they just work themselves to death it seems.
You have just BEAT ALL THE REALLY Big TOOL CHANNEL S to this they are now all trying to see when there's will come in I think I will wate for the NORTH AMERICAN MODEL too come out I see the COLLET not holding on to the BIT
I guess time will tell, however I did see one test vs the Milwaukee gen 4 and at the end of all the testing the Milwaukee was to hot to hold on top while the dewalt was just warm. This may not be a sign of durability, but keeping cooler under high loads seems positive
@@KansasTools 😂 hey man I still think they're all good tools brother. To be honest .5 seconds on an impact difference isn't a huge deal to me , very informative though as to what I'm buying instead of buying something random.

@@ToolswithSoAlz lol , your heritage must also include english as thats the language that you speak , and yes you did beat us in the war of independance but only due to help from the french , i,m actually half spanish but the countries that they and the Portuguese colonized are now some of the most corrupt and dangerous places in the world and also very poor , every dog has its day we had ours , like every other country , that aside i like your review but why do all reviewers use impact drivers to do things that impact wrenches are designed for ?
Is this the channel gets free tools to 💩 on makitas 😂😂😂 have you seen the ingroll IH impact ? I just seen on google pop up , has fancy screen on the back
you helped us win the war but you would not have won it on your own !!! so self righteous , the Russians ,polish , nepalese , indias , candians, australians and many more countries were all in this fight to defeat the nazis
"That suckers big"
That's what she said 😆😆
Finally, Dewalt UPPING THEIR GAME
I believe it was the first Dewalt you've ever gotten to drive a 8" lag. It's not the right tool for the job, but still impressive.
It was impressive
@@ToolswithSoAlz I still think I'll pass on it.
My Ridgid 4 mode has enough power for my needs, and the whole combo was only $180 with the hack.
Let’s see the 870
Hydraulic
Let's go 870 !!!
watched this tested against milwaukee and the reviewer said the milwaukee had more vibration and the milwaukee got way hotter
It's not true. The Dewalt vibrates enough to make my wife happy and we got it to 231° in this
Lies are fun to tell

It pulled lug nuts off my car surprisingly without a skip 😮
Yeah, I think the 860 clarifies which driver is #1 in the Dewalt line.
Great video as usual, I hope you’re able to get your hands on that 870 as well.
We shall see
870 !!!
And than - " superOil / 887 " !!!

What power tool should I use to drive 8” lags? Cause I’m renovating a patio
Use a drill and make pilot holes
Great review, it has guts.
Wonder what would drive the half inch bolts in repeatedly.
A drill or an impact wrench

They’re all very good. Milwaukee needs to address some durability problems on their impacts and drills in the next generation tho (I’m sure they will)

To work put the kinks
How’s the vibration in speed 2?
I haven't tested speed 2
price?
$200
Honest question Why would dewalt release it in Asia first rather than the US?
To possibly work out the bugs before sending it to America
@@ToolswithSoAlz I agree with that

I know
How loud is it? The biggest complaint I get about my Milwaukee is that it is much louder than the bosses DeWalt.
He’s just jealous 😂
Spray little contact glue, make a cloth jacket , you can make it quieter than the boss
Try it with Flex volt battery
K
Yea from what I seen on other video it was better battery for it I could be wrong
Throwing a Flexvolt on an impact is, for practical purposes, ridiculous.
@ToolswithSoAlz true I only use 2.5 on my flex
