He survives the time reset, and then Rachel turned him into Hakumen. Notes that in this timeline, Jin and Tsubaki were even closer than they are in the current timeline. Bang’s master (Lord Tenjo) isn’t actually alive, her heir (Homura) is alive. (Note that Bang’s master is actually a woman and the heir is of nonbinary/unspecified gender. I believe Plat just told him about the true powers of his nail, and he uses it in Chronophantasma. You skipped a little over a lot of the Jin/Tsubaki storyline. Most importantly, you missed how the reason Tsubaki was ordered to capture Noel is so that Terumi could turn her into Mu. You also missed Jin realizing the NOL is fucked up and he’s being manipulated by Terumi, which is a big part of his development in CS. You also completely forgot the fact that Lambda had Nu’s soul inside her. that was what motivated her to sacrifice yourself in order to give Ragna the IDEA engine. That parody of Rachel‘s conversation with Takamagahara is absolutely perfect and captures most of the cryptic bullshit in the series, lmao. Takamagahara isn’t just “simulating” the timelines. (all these names are from Japanese Shinto Religion) In the Religion, you have Amaterasu, a nine tailed fox god, who is the overall guardian of earth. Noel and the other Murakumo Units, represent this "sword". Hakumen is a "Susano'o unit", and he represents Susano'o. The Master unit, is known as Amateratsu, and it represents the God. Terumi, basically represents Orochi
There's 3 Deities in BlazBlue story. The Master Unit (Amaterasu), The Susano'o Unit (Hakumen), and The Origin Unit. Saya's original body, is what you see "bound" up against the wall, if you play Central Fiction, or read the Mangas or Anime. The story mode said this. The Origin still remained within the Master Unit, as seen during the final cutscene with Ragna.
"Hakumen is Jin from the future, who is in the past, therefore Hakumen in the present is now Jin from the past in the future" Brilliant. Brilliant, I say xD
Well, actually Noel is the Calamity Trigger that brings about the Continuum Shift, as in the shift from the time loop to everything that happens after the time loop breaks. So technically everything that happens after the instant Noel pulls Ragna out of the cauldron is part of the Continuum Shift, including Chrono Phantasma and Central Fiction. Basically the plot of BBCS is resolving which of endless possibilities do we follow now that fate isn't set in stone like it was during the time loop.
Correction: tagamakahara isn't a part of/sided with the master unit. They were created to try and beat the master unit, and it's more of a "enemy of my enemy"/"it's our world too yaknow!" kinda deal. Edit: forgot the point of the video when I made this comment lol.
I hate Central Fiction story, I thought that they will move on with the time loop but nope, it is just another time line with a bunch of additional characters.
I remember there was a summer where CS extend was the only game I played, going through every characters story over and over until I got every ending playing every characters arcade mode so I would get all the story bits I got so invested in this shit I even started watching anime (outside of dbz/naruto) for the first time just to see if there was a show like blazblue. People always praise netherrealms for giving fighting games good stories but arc system did it first. It sucks that they always get overlooked because there anime games
The Takamagahara is not run by the Master Unit. The Takamagahara system was created by makind in order to manipulate space and time, and to preserve the existence of humanity against the intervention phenomena caused by the Amaterasu. They were responsible for the time loops in Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift. The Continuum Shift is also not a program run by the Takamagahara. The Continuum Shift was a phenomenon caused by Noel Vermillion after she inherited the Azure and the power of the eye. As she wasn't able to control it, she caused a problem with all the possibilities of the world. The Takamagahara System then observed all of the possibilities of the Continuum Shift and interfered in order to get closer to the Azure (hence all endings being canon, the shift occured when things did not occur in their favor), using Terumi as pawn (that's why they released him after the end of Calamity Trigger) Terumi then manipulated Noel, and completed the smelting process started in Ikaruga on 2194 (the beginning of Calamity Trigger story mode), thus, creating the godslayer Mu -12-, in order to kill Amaterasu (this is a foreshadowing of who Terumi really is).
Hold the phone. I was under the impression that Takamagahara could rewind time but couldn't interfere with it. Only the Master Unit and her posse (like Noel) could do that. Meaning it's stuck using Observers like Rachel to influence events. Which is a shit tier version of godhood since everyone who ISN'T connected to Amaterasu can only act within their given possibilities versus Noel who is a walking glitch and the rules don't apply to her, meaning she can do and observe whatever she wants. Which is the entire reason they needed Terumi since he is a god who can also act outside of given possibilities except since he's so weak without his body Takamagahara can sort of keep him on a leash.
@@elevate07 the time was rewinded by Amaterasu. Takamagahara knew Ragna was the central fiction, so when the outcome was not to their liking, they fired the Takemikazuchi to force Amaterasu to rewind time. Make sense?
@@PauloWirth Ah that makes sense. Takamagahara can't influence time but can take advantage of The Origin's massive, android lady boner for Ragna by poking it with a space laser sized stick and make Amatarasu rewind time. Since The Origin isn't going to tolerate any timeline that doesn't have the possibility of him running into her eventually. I still don't understand how Jin exists though. Noel exists because The Origin based the current world on the previous one and the previous one had android waifus that looked like her so this one has them too. Ragna exists because The Origin wants a boyfriend to come rescue her, meaning Ragna exists explicitly to satisfy her damsel in distress fetish. But Jin doesn't factor into The Origin's motivation at all, he's just an asshole that seems to have willed himself into existence. I'm sure the Power of Order has something to do with it but I don't remember them explaining that either.

The Origin still remained within the Master Unit, as seen during the final cutscene with Ragna.
Yeah sounds about right
This is so fun to watch! Please keep the good work! 👍
So I'm gonna need the image of Tager, Lambda and Hakumen shooting and fucking shit up...
"Hakumen is Jin from the future, who is in the past, therefore Hakumen in the present is now Jin from the past in the future"
Brilliant.
Basically the plot of BBCS is resolving which of endless possibilities do we follow now that fate isn't set in stone like it was during the time loop.
oh it is a great day to see a recall the plot again and seeing Jenova appear as a fill in the blank monster
Thank you, it all makes sense now
this series was already the best but those BB videos are even better
The story of all 4 games is quite simple. but trying to recall every important event is hard as balls.
Yeah, BlazBlue do that.
At least Chronophantasma doesn't do that... Then again because of chronophantasma, Centralfiction were born.
Thats the main plot. They have to keep on since cf is the master unit saying" okay, this shit went too far. Lets start over"
And they fight against it
Man blazblue's story is a fucking trip
You mean to tell me that the 3 Murakumo sisters talking to Platinum about ass is canon?!
Maybe .
The Takamagahara System then observed all of the possibilities of the Continuum Shift and interfered in order to get closer to the Azure (hence all endings being canon, the shift occured when things did not occur in their favor), using Terumi as pawn (that's why they released him after the end of Calamity Trigger)
Terumi then manipulated Noel, and completed the smelting process started in Ikaruga on 2194 (the beginning of Calamity Trigger story mode), thus, creating the godslayer Mu -12-, in order to kill Amaterasu (this is a foreshadowing of who Terumi really is).
Lemme guess.
Is Terumi a god or something?
@@kurtdelarosa6151 yes, he is. His Astral gives it away.
Most of this Continuum Shift plot recall is a plot recall of Calamity Trigger
YES I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
Man, these are so funny. Cant wait for them to do Central Fiction
REPLAYING ALL THE GAMES IN A ROW IS A PAIN, BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER EVERYTHINGS. THIS INCLUDRS THE XBLAZE SERIES
And now everything makes sense... forever.
It only gets more and more confusing
hahaha I spit my juice at Jin crying why he is so low tier on "Moonlight Wilderness" hahaha
So great 😆! Love this series.
I just realized he completely forgot about Phantom's existence
No! Rewind the clock again!
