- It took 9 games to finally incorporate women's rights into Mega Man, even if it was just a Leviathan cameo similar to Tornado Man being a Harpuia cameo. Still, Splash Blue is a phenomenal stage theme that definitely deserves the attention it gets.
Mega Man 9 is a game I see get a lot love, but I don't hold that same sentiment. I find the game to be either boring, lackluster, or very frustrating at times, and the only things that can even make it semi-redeemable is the OST and presentation, but everything else, especially level design, falls flat for me. I honestly find Mega Man 9 to be one of the weakests in the series. It's funny 'cuz the next game is my one of my favorite entry in the classic series and, of course, in my top 10 games of the franchise.

100% agreed. While 2 was incredible and set the bar for the rest of the series, 9's team had plenty of time to play, digest, and analyze the previous games and see what worked. That resulted in an extremely polished release that still somehow gets overlooked by many.

is there really much difference between 9 and 10's level design? i remember playing both back in the day and loving them and not noticing much difference.
Mega man 9 is way more designed for skilled players such as no miss runners, 10 was more designed for more of a casual expirience

Capcom hadn't thought of female RMs way before the Internet became popular. Now it's extremely imbalanced. There hasn't been any new one for (almost) 13 years. Is this because of Rule 34?
It wouldnt matter anyways. The second a new character is announced for litterally anything someone makes rule 34 art of it. Just look at pokemon scarlet and violet. There was art made of the starters THE SAME DAY OF THE TRAILER

Well, the SNES can reproduce the Mega Drive's FM sound perfectly, so I think that can be considered.
