    Time to make a part 2. You forgot to show us the rudder-twist, forgot to mention that the Winwing joystick vibrates and didn't show us if MSFS2020 detects the joystick.

    Real Airbus sidestick is very dampened back to netural. It doesn't "snap" like the Thrustmaster.

    Great in depth review XP72. the Winwing flight stick mechanics is some what similar to the VKB inside the workings. i do feel the VKB looks more sturdy, robust & heavier design and it comes with different tension springs, spare parts and tools. The VKB you just change out the stick as its separates from the base, i do think this Winwing stick is removable, its got the similar 3 screws underneath.

  • @NegdoshaManido

    I fly the A320 irl and the stick is very dampened. Tough to say which one has the more realistic travel, since I've never taken a tape measure to work and measured the travel. I would have to get the WW in hand to make a good comparison between it and the irl A320 stick. Right now, I am using a Virpil WarBird gimbal with an A320 grip (I don't remember who makes the grip, but it's very realistic) and the tension is good with the springs I have installed. I also have the TM Airbus stick, and I found it to be just ok, but for someone who is accustomed to the real thing, completely unacceptable.

    To me, the WinWing Joystick feels sturdier and has a better overall feel. My Thrustmaster joystick is made of plastic that feels cheap, whereas the plastic used in the WinWing joystick appears to be of higher quality and doesn't feel cheap. Overall, it's a great product and a great review!

    the winwing obviously has a surprisingly good dampening ... but there is also one more pro to mention for the thrustmaster: the twist axis. some might use it for rudders if no pedals available, but if you have pedals, the twist grip comes in super handy as a tiller axis.

    Do we know the price? i use the basic Thrustmaster yoke and quad. Ive been looking for an upgrade for a few years. I bought the Thrustmaster captains pack last year and the side stick did not work with Xplane 11.

  •  หลายเดือนก่อน

    That is normal to feel the Thrustmaster bouncing more (spring effect) since the travel is longer. For the test you did, you should move less the TCA axes.
    Anyway, good comparison.

    very rough review, winwing hands down 10 times better than TM TCA, no issue with the rudder axis being TM design flaw, that dampening centering is the key game changer for better controls and feel when adding very subtle control inputs is needed

  • @TogaSimulations21
    @TogaSimulations21 หลายเดือนก่อน

    the real airbus sidestick has lots of travel and is very damp. If thrust master makes theirs as dampened as the winwing or even more, I would pick the thrust master over winwing. I mean right now i would still pick thrustmaster over winwing because I like having the travel.

      @@XP72official The stick twist for example has stick drift, so the inputs aren't right anymore or it gives inputs on its own. Secondly, the build quality feels genuinely cheap and lightweight.

    Updated apps to support vibration motors in MSFS.
    Does it work well with MSFS?
    If it does, does it vibrate when running down the runway during takeoff and landing?
    Or is it just a brief vibration on landing touchdown and that's it?
