What is the learning after going through congress manifesto?
A: On voting day, even if it’s 50C, go out and vote for Narendra Modi AT ANY COST. Don’t Netflix and chill, don’t go on a weekend trip with family or say it’s too hot. Every single vote matters.
Strong Opposition is must for a healthy democracy, but this opposition is trying to destroy it. Look at their manifesto by hook or crook they want to come to power irrespective of whether country survives or not.
Voting starts a 8 am generally go that time it's mostly empty very less line... And the temp is also good... Frist go and vote then do all your work... It's a must to vote..

The terms diversity and affirmative action are stolen from the US terminology and this is a reflection of what is happening in California/San Francisco/Seattle. This has longer connotations and they are coming up with discriminations that are non-existing at present in India.
The more interesting part is that they want more affirmative acti0n in India, after having significant reservations, etc , for 7 decades. MERIT is de@d in the society, and being born in certain c@stes means you are discriminated against officially by the govt.

Kushal, point number 7 was very common in small towns and villages in WB during the communist era.
In villages and small towns, the CPM government would do the same thing as listed in this congress manifesto.
In villages, they’d make a list of villagers owning large tracts of land (comparatively). Then they’d visit their house one fine day and coerce them into giving away a part of their land. (First they’d pursuade, and if you didn’t agree to their demands, local CPM cadres would harass you). Even if you decide to sell the land and go way, you couldn’t, bcoz the local CPM leaders would not allow others to buy it and they would regulate the price of your land. So you’d be forced to either give away your plans for free, or sell your land at dirt-cheap prices to the CPM. The CPM would distribute a part of the land to poor people, or bring in people from elsewhere to settle there. The corrupt leaders would sell the rest of the plot and pocket the money themselves.
In small towns, the CPM would bring poor people, often illegal immigrants and settle them on open land, belonging to a well-off guy, or often government land. This, in particular, happened in my locality. There was a large tract of Indian Railways land and a separate land belonging to a mental hospital. The CPM usurped these lands and settled poor people in shanties in those occupied land. And if you went to complain against the illegal occupation or file a police complaint, they’d refuse to take the complaint. If you complained to the local CPM leaders, they’d harass and target you by calling you an oppressor, a bourgeois etc etc. And the people who lived in those illegal settlements gradually became CPM supporters and vote bank.
Such “wealth redistribution” and “land redistribution” schemes were very common during the long tenure of Jyoti Basu as CM of West Bengal.(Jyoti Basu is easily the worst CM of West Bengal, even the current government is much much much better than that communist era)

I would correct the point at 45:31.
My both parents are teachers, also we have a family background of teachers in peripheries
1. Often teachers are asked / ordered to do field work for schools and institutions specially gov. Granted ones, to go in the areas and bring students for admission on a specific target basis. Have seen a case where a group of teachers came together and paid for the transportation of those students just to get targets done.
2. Teacher staff are ordered to do the BLO/ voters registery and updation work by going into allocated areas with list of thousands of people.
I could not recall more but there are 40-30% of annual working hours spent on these gov. Activities.

Also during COVID, Teachers were the first group of people after the medical/health workers tasked with duties to at Municipality Clinics, to go within the localities and get data out of them. I think this was the need of the hour given the ability of local gov. to reach out for first respondents.
During the last Census, I think for 2010, Teachers were the ones asked to go (not volunteer) for data collection. My dad was one of the same so I can rightfully confirm.

An election duty takes 3 days, paper checking is a teaching activity
All other activities that teachers do in class is extra curricular activity which is for development of students

Non Teaching activities for Govt teachers primarily means other deputation postings in offices for duties that are more of clerical in nature or job that has nothing to do with education

@@Pirate_King72 That happens because the number of students in government schools are pretty less and that's why government is privatizing education sector to an extend and in private schools there is RTE system so that their fees is 2000 per yr so that they can learn from there in less price

People are trying to censor you. I went to LIDL in Germany and was using their wifi, and my video stopped from another app i was using to listen to this. I checked on TH-cam but didn't see this video. After leaving the shop I was using my phone data and was able to access the video. Same happed to Def talks video.
I work in hospital there is a scheme by government were people under this scheme avail this service, and its practice with workable portal. we have employees working nonstop to give out this service.

One minor correction. Teachers in schools can be required to do a few things apart from teaching like election duty as schools are centers for elections. Also teachers are utilized for surveying during census and for promoting government schemes/creating awareness as per directives etc. sometimes it can get quite strenuous.

I think the point for not using teacher for non teaching activities is that teachers are used during election, some times they are sent on story period by state to impliment government policies, when they are dean/ head the take over finances etc. Teachers and professors are sometimes used for non teaching jobs but the discussion in manifesto is very vague.
Just wanted clarification - student studying far away from home , can they vote near tgeir college booth even though their election icard has home address??

45:33 It has importance. Teachers just like other govt employees are given election duties. They were used for census too. Not just govt school teachers sometimes even private school teachers were used.
I don't think the manifesto says anything about redistribution of wealth. It does talk about caste based census, but I don't see where it mentions wealth redistribution. It's been said in a speech by RaGa, but that's not the same as an election promise in a manifesto

Social security schemes are need of time, as a village farmers son from obc community, i knew there are several old aged people waiting for their old age pension for puchasing of medicines and food iteams. The provision for health insurance, family pension, mention about education loan are very helpfull and attractive
