Very good. I am a 85 year old Indian , living in Malaysia. My great grand grandfather came to this country in 1884. I do not speak Hind language. Even with this handicap I understand the discussion
Greattttt
There is a LOT of Punjabi too!
The instance of vedanindā in the Manusmriti is verse (2.11) and not Chapter 10. I made a mistake as it gets hard to remember the exact verses as I mix up the verses sometimes. This one says:
(Translated by George Bühler): Every twice-born man, who, relying on the Institutes of dialectics, treats with contempt those two sources (of the law), must be cast out by the virtuous, as an atheist and a scorner of the Veda.
(Translated by Patrick Olivelle): If a twice-born disparages these two* by relying on the science of logic, he ought to be ostracized by good people as an infidel and a denigrator of the Veda.
It's normal 😊
Koi baat nahi bhai
atleast u accept and change ur mistake, bhai.. i know some people who never accept their mistake and lie like a song..
Very True, Kushal left Hinduism because of bjp rss issues, Muslims are the only peaceful tolerant people in India.

India has been a land of seekers,our dharmic scriptures allow us to have doubts,questions which you won't find in any other faiths.Our dharma teaches us to encompass every creation,to have mutual respect, tolerance, acceptance etc.,Just imagine Kushal being a charwak is having a podcast,having a conversation about dharma without being executed,decapitated,where on earth you could find such a liberal,democratic, peaceful country 👀🙏✌️
doesn't that mean your own Dharma teaches you to respect other religions? doesn't that mean your own Vedas have taught you to respect Muslims and see human as human instead of caste, creed or religion?
isn't this the very definition of secularism which is deeply rooted in your own "dharma"? so why do we keep on fighting based on all this? why not live and let live peacefully?
the answer: bjp is using us and WhatsApp university and Indian media has consumed our brain that we forgot our own roots and have been fed extremism at every step.
@@uncannyroaches5933🤡🤡,your half baked knowledge on sanatan is cringe worthy for sure.
@@uncannyroaches5933 there were no Muslims or other religions mentioned in the Vedas as they just don't exist since
@@uncannyroaches5933 first of all secularism isn't practiced in its true form anywhere, secularism is sort of religion based politics idea to help minority religion people and keep them on high pedestal than majority religion to make them feel good. also even if we be equal towards all religions and castes and live and let live, this attitude should be shared between both sides and not only one side ie. not only non-monotheistic cultures but monotheistic cultures should also try to change and be equal towards all religions and castes. if only one side does it it will be bad for that side only, this should be from both sides which is not the case right now
[Don't spread fake news and hate about BJP, It has got nothing to do with it, Congress favoured Muslims much much more than Hindu and they were openly partial]

The average Western country is way more liberal, democratic and peaceful
This comment section is a reflection of how carvakas are treated in India. There are some respectful disagreements, some rebuttals, but no animosity. Even the most religious person is sensible to Kushal's position. You won't find this equation anywhere else.

54:41 I disagree with Kushal here. “By bhagwan saza denge”, parents are not outsourcing. They are saying that your actions have consequences. God is a proxy agent of your fate to explain what consequences are. In fact, even our gods have faced consequences for their actions. There are no good or bad events. Just fate and consequences. We don’t tell adults that “bhagwan punish karenge”. To adults we tell “jaisi karni waisi bharni”.
And it doesn’t have to do anything with laziness. It’s humility. I don’t know when and how the comeuppance will come, but come it does. If you say this to a child, poor thing will be in trauma. Hence we use god as a proxy to explain it to kids
Couldn't agreed more karma isn't same as the fear mongering in Abrahamic faiths about going to hell and all such things
When I read about Abrahamic religions i myself became a Hindu who is philosophically atheist 🙃, Just like Kushal. Edit- dumb people down there didn't watched the complete podcast. By philosophical atheism , i meant similar to being a "carvaka"

@@punyashloka4946 to uska asar kya hua earth par uske liye ankit Shah ko bulao samjhoge
In Hinduism, various scriptures discuss the concept of belief and the consequences of non-belief. Here are some verses that address non-belief in God:
1. **Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 9, Verse 3)**:
- "अश्रद्दधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परन्तप |
अप्राप्य मां निवर्तन्ते मृत्युसंसारवर्त्मनि ||"
- Translation: "Those who are without faith in this teaching, O Parantapa, do not attain Me and follow the path of death and rebirth."
2. **Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 16, Verses 8-9)**:
- "असत्यमप्रतिष्ठं ते जगदाहुरनीश्वरम् |
अपरस्परसम्भूतं किमन्यत्कामहैतुकम् ||8||
एतां दृष्टिमवष्टभ्य नष्टात्मानोऽल्पबुद्धयः |
प्रभवन्त्युग्रकर्माणः क्षयाय जगतोऽहिताः ||9||"
- Translation: "They say that the world is unreal, without a basis, without a God, and is produced from mutual union, with no other cause than lust. Holding such a view, these lost souls of small intellects engage in terrible actions that are meant for the destruction of the world."
3. **Manu Smriti (Chapter 4, Verse 163)**:
- "नास्तिको वेदनिन्दकः |
वेदबाह्यंस्तु नास्तिकांश्च धर्माद्विहाय निर्दिशेत् ||"
- Translation: "An atheist, a blasphemer of the Vedas, is to be regarded as outside the Vedic fold and to be avoided."
These verses reflect the traditional Hindu view that faith in God and the scriptures is fundamental to spiritual progress and righteousness. They suggest that those who do not believe may face various spiritual and moral consequences.
The notion that God will punish if you do immoral things is coming to the realm of Karma. Whatever you do wrong or right, it will come back to you.
Because nature forgive your silly mistakes but not your actions with intention
I love listening to Kushal!
After watching this video, I am thinking that if by mistake this video is seen by every person in the world and they understand it logically, then those who are sensible won't be affected much, but those who are staunch believers in their religion, when the truth of their religion and the real meaning of their god is presented to them, there will be chaos in the whole world 🌎😮

When Muslim became x Muslim, then became because he studied Islam in deeply and understood that it's garbage, while leftish hindus consider themselves atheist became atheist because they never took any book in hand which was hindu or visited temple so they are completely untouchable from Hinduism.
So in one case atheist Muslim have knowledge about Islam so the speak about it and on other hand atheist hindu doesn't have knowledge about Hinduism at all so they don't speak it deeply.

I’ve been listening to Osho for a long time now. He covered I guess every upnishad, vedas and had a deep understanding of dharma, afterall he was an enlightened person. Kushal’s talks are very much in alignment with what enlightenment people have said. He’s definitely on a journey of self discovery and wanted to emphasize the importance of Nastik. While a nastik can become aastik one day, can’t be true for an atheist unfortunately. Enlightened people always emphasized that for truth seekers it is important to drop all believes and start from zero and seek GOD. This is what a nastik is. Not attached to any beliefs. Will seek truth according to his nature. Swa Tasmin! You’re what you’re seeking
