In this stream I'm creating a small game prop based on concept art by Baldi Konijn. This prop is part of a larger dungeon set.

Really interested where you got your brushes from. Some of those look really useful. Nice timelapse. I seriously need to get on the Zmodeler train.

Thanks Mike! Most brushes are Zbrush default brushes like TrimDynamic and HPolish. However I'm also using the magical Orb's crack brushes: www.artstation.com/artwork/9kwVo

How to make a low poly version from this one?

You can check this retopo tutorial I made. Most things apply to this model as well. Although with a simple shape like this sewer drain you can also just build a low poly mesh around it with primitives. th-cam.com/video/o8W4aMqiY68/w-d-xo.html

Hi. Thanks for sharing. I'm still learning zbrush. I think I'm still new but how do you get the basic curved tunnel shape at the very beginning?

      Mr Shame Maya/ max

thanks. you think it can be done in zbrush too?

Yes definitely, but max or Maya r the faster idea, to be a pro zbrush user u don't have to always rely on zbrush ,just do things in tricky ways, creating low poly stuffs in zbrush is really painful it's better to make them in Maya or max then import and sculpt as u want

did you use a tablet or just a mouse? I have a tablet but i find it fiddly to use

It really depends, I'm mostly using an Intuos pro but for some parts (when I am mostly clicking modifiers and other buttons in Zbrush) I'm using a mouse.

Build the base meshes in maya, 3ds max isn't better?
    nice result :)

That's definitely an option I used many times before. I don't believe it's about what's better but more what feels better for you as an artist. Zbrush feels more organic for me even with creating base meshes.
