    Can you elaborate on the cable adjustment needed for the float fix? I have a similar issue.

      The loader handle has cables that run to the valves and needed loosened and tightened to allow the valve to move into float

    Great video! About to buy a 2021 used same model. 7yr warranty transfers from owner to owner, correct? Also Iowa is where my parents are from, so always good watching the great people of that state.

      From what I understand about the warranty, you will want to notifiy a authorized Mahindra dealer to make sure it gets switched to your name, it should easily be transferable. I love my Max 26 XLT, it has been a great purchase and think youll be very happy with it!

    I had a 2019 Max 26 XLT. Loved it, but traded it last fall after 200 hours for a skid steer. I’ve missed it ever since. The Max 26 is a fantastic tractor the clearly “punches above its weight.” Reason for this comment is that I had a tire do exactly the same thing. I described it to my dealer and they suggested that it happened sometime when the tire was spinning in place. In other words, my fault. Kept using it that way till I traded it, but now wish I had looked into it more. Thanks for the good video.

    • @k6outdoors
      @k6outdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really is a great tractor and is well rounded for its size. Unfortunately dealers seem to want to wash their hands of warranty work and I am lucky to have a great one. They sent pictures to the dealer and they sent a new one directly to me as a replacement. Would it have been fine, likely but a tire shouldn't do that. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for stopping in!

    I also had the missing floating loader, which the dealer fixed. The only nagging issue is the sluggish/stiff HST treadle that does not self-return to neutral - still working on this.

    • @k6outdoors
      @k6outdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the occasional HST creep but I rrally see this issue when it's really cold out. In the spring and summer I make sure to keep it lubricated and I haven't had to much of an issue! Let me know when you get it fixed!! Thanks for stopping in!

    • @k6outdoors
      @k6outdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My opinion is if you are going to be using rhe loader alot get an HST. If you plan to pull alot of implements in long stretches, a shuttle shift might be more ideal. I personally like the HST. I hope this helps!

    If you ever decide to change the flush and change the Rad fluid, please post of a video of that maintenance. I am at 200 hours and need to learn how to do that. I am considering adding a Prestone Flush T on the hose that is used to drain the fluid so that it becomes easy to drain (just unscrew the cap). Any thoughts on doing this ?

    Have you been successful with having most of your implements fit your quick hitch? I had a John Deere that really didn’t fit much and now I’ve got a Pat’s that’s always floppy and the top link is too short. I love my Max 26, but the differential lock quit . I’ll have the dealer address it in the Spring when he services the hydraulic system. Mine creeps a bit too

    All Mahindra tractors are manufactured overseas, either in India or China. The only two people that Mahindra gives a job to is the salesman and the mechanic that keeps fixing them. Buy American and give your kids or grandkids a job. Buy a John Deere that is made in Augusta, Georgia, John Deere employees thousands of Americans.

    • @k6outdoors
      @k6outdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately thats not 100% true. Most of the tractor components for this specific tractor were built in Japan by mitsubishi and are shipped in pieces to the United States were they are assembled at one of many assembly plants scattered throughout the US. Items like the loaders are being fabricated in the US. A good example of this is that the loader for the Max 26 xlt is made at "kansas metal works". There are no compact or sub compact tractors in the US that 100% domestically build. As much as I like john deere, they even use engines from Yanmar and other components to build their tractors. Its really all relative to what your buying. Being from Iowa John Deere seems like a logical choice but when testing them out i still migrated back to the Mahindra. I appreciate the input!

    • @jefflove406
      @jefflove406 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@k6outdoors Just like John Deer who's compact tractors are made out of country, and all use Yanmar motors. Hoods are made of plastic. I will NOT support a company who claimed to be American and sells out their employees to increase the pay of their CEO
