Had NO idea what this random road side stop would turn into but beyond happy for the distraction! Such a cool dude with an awesome collections of classics!
He's got a whole collection of cool stuff and an even bigger collection of stories! Good luck convincing him to sell anything that's not currently on the chopping block though ;)
My parents had a 56 Buick that I got to drive a time or two. It did not have power brakes and it sure needed them. You had to have a heavy foot to keep to the speed limit on a long down grade. Those Buicks he had in his garage are beautiful.
Absolutely especially on this vintage stuff, they all have decades and decades of history and memories attached to them at this point. Great random side of the road find!
Rich I've been a long time subscriber and frequent flyer of your content I like all of your videos, but I must say this is my favorite one. Thank you for being a humble man and sharing this man's incredible collection.
Thank you very much for long term support of us and what we do Shawn we really appreciate that. It was an awesome unexpected opportunity in the middle of a long exhausting trip, very glad to show off Kurt and his collection/story.
That was super cool Rich. Kurt has an absolutely beautiful collection. I can`t imagine the rush of 425mph in a small racing plane. Wow! Score on those parts. Waiting on the motor video next.
No kidding right?! Definitely wasn't expecting this but it just kept getting better and better! Just goes to show sometimes you need to stop and smell the patina!
I recognize Fancy Gap mountain. When I was still racing and hauling my car and trailer plus a truck full of spares that big hill was always a test of truck and tranny. I always tried to hold 70 MPH for the whole 7 miles and see if anything overheated of broke. My 2020 RAM 1500 with the Hemi loved it. Just past there in Virginia is no mans land for speed cops. I have travelled there many times and always saw at least one speed cop usually with some poor sap pulled over. Never got busted there but it was always a challenge.

That GS is what babies are made from! It is stunning! Did you buy that Special? It is really cool!
Nice car ❤
You would love working in that shop.
This definitely feels like a "Rich in 2 decades" kind of thing
You came to NC and didn't call me, I am crushed! I would love to have helped! I live just north of richmond va.
East River Mountain and Big Walker Mountain tunnels are interesting. Good place to test your train horns...and scare the snot outta fellow travelers.
Rich, what tunnel was that you went thru?
Kurt was on pass time in his Camaro and raced with the shifters stick shift
Really!? Is that something we can find a link for?
differnt video content, but catch all your videos lol.Im in north east NC near outer banks and also virginia beach VA,30 miles either way.
That '68 L-89 Camaro SS is one of 272 made .
That 56 is a bait car so he can show you the rest😂
Lol could be! Here fishy fishy fishy!
Atlas Copco, an Ohio company built fantastic tunnel boring machines for many years.
👍👍
I wished I had my dad's 65 LeSabre custom , 355 wildcat. I liked it better than the 70 LeSabre.
Automotive Adventures with Rich!
Certainly turned into one unexpectedly!
The next time you are down here I will be good company! Please let me know, I will go with you and drive you back, then fly home!
You need a car for power tour next spring
