I can fix anything, weld, etc and custom cars all the time but I have a bad back and just forgot more information! I’m 57 and it’s just way too expensive to restore these cars! So just get them running and put some nice paint on them! Don Los Angeles California

Arlans. They were discount department stores. I bought my 45’s there in the ‘60’s. They always had bins of 9 cent cutout records as well. I thought they were mainly a midwest operation. Looks like they filed for bankruptcy in 1971, liquidated everything in 1975. At one point they has 120 stores. We had several in the Milwaukee area.
Rich people can afford to drive around and look for cars. Old car hobby is just for rich people now. Like everything the rich get involved in they corner the market and run up the prices so only they can afford them. A working person isn’t supposed to be involved in the old car hobby. They’re lucky to be able to even own an automobile to drive to a job they slave at for peanuts. The rich have it all figured out where they are the only ones to afford old cars, homes, land, etc. America is not for the working class anymore.
All 10 of these vehicles would be mine till death did us part. How do you part with a treasure for $? Of course I couldn't succeed at a hod rod business. Just a very expensive hobby with lots of pet cars.

Those southerners never fix old cars unless they are rich! Otherwise it’s going to sit and rust to death!
Ruining some beautiful old cars. They should be restored to stock.
