Those were the toys👏😀👏😀👏✌ I remember me and my cousin use to make roads on the dirt and make houses😁little fences and use the pickup trucks to haul the dirt rocks 😁this was early 90s I use to take some of my cars trucks that i bought at the thrift stores in the city they had alot of older Tonka trucks vans there that's y i liked going there also the flea market😀 so yea I took them to the farm when we visited😁 different times
Oh hey, I had one of these in my Tonka fleet when I was little (along with, among others, a Mighty Dump and that crane/excavator/dragline thing with the strings that always got tangled up on the tiny winches :). Super nostalgic. That yellow looks a liiiittle too Big Bird to my eye, but maybe that's just the freshness of it. Matching yellows is pretty tough anyway, and I have no idea if it's even possible with powder coat. Certainly gives a nice finish, though!
Hey Joe, still watching your videos and still missing to hear more information about the toys that you restore...building years for example...but okay...no worrys...you should be not to say more than you would 😉 btw...always nice job...and try to use WD40 to remove the tyres that help a lot 👍
Надо было попробовать, как эта игрушка, справляется со своей рабочей функцией, сгребает ли он грунт ножом ? Выполняет ли, разравнивание поверхностей ??? Это интересно.....
I pulled the cap off a parts vehicle I had laying around. It was actually rusted way worse but cleaned up the best, go figure! Most repro parts are from eBay.
I stumbled upon your videos and I'm impressed. I am passionate about cars too. I make photos and videos. I own a collection of miniature Ferrari. I go to the salons and meetings. I'll be glad that you subscribe to my channel if you think she deserves it. I will do the same on my side. Have a good day Joe !

Great to see these getting a second life.
I remember playing with this grader as a kid. Even back then it was a hard toy to play with.
I actually had that as a kid. I loved construction equipment and trains, I still do.
Beautiful restoration job.

It looked like the powder coat didn't want to stay on the chase but it sure turned out awesome.
Yeah, I hoped that I wasn't the only one who thought the powder coat went on kinda thin in some places.
Great restoration ! i have this one too waiting for a resto !
Nice job
And now maintain a highway with this perfectly restored truck! :D

Nice one. It has "walking beam" suspension on the rear axle - like the early Scammell off-road trucks. All wheels stay on the ground.

Good job.
Add a touch of modern to her with flashing LEDs, headlamps and stop lights. 🇺🇸🇺🇸👌
Looks like brand new! How may self-inflicted, near-fatal wounds have you suffered trying to disassemble these rusty relics for restoration?
good job
Me encanta 😍

Could you please tell me what spray paint would best simulate a nickel finish on an antique cast iron fire truck railing?? I greatly appreciate it!!

That would be so cool if you could get official state DOT decals. Like PennDOT stickers.
Back when the USA was tough. Where there was no crybabies getting mad over what somebody says.

Where did you get the missing hub cap, let alone missing parts for other projects?
I pulled the cap off a parts vehicle I had laying around. It was actually rusted way worse but cleaned up the best, go figure! Most repro parts are from eBay.

Isn't there supposed to be white lettering on the tires? Great job though.
Thanks! The white lettering didn't start until much later models.
