It’s a wonderful series of fabric collages. Each one has its particular style and they’re all beautiful. My favourites are the blue/turquoise ones because they remind me of the sea 🧡💙🤎❤️💛🩷🩵💜♥️🩶💚
I love all of your beautiful collages.... every morning I sit down with a cup of coffee and watch your designs come alive. It has become my favorite part of the day! Have you ever used beads and/or old jewelry in your work?
Oh, very nice to hear. I have been making what we in Denmark call container jewelry, brooches made of bits and bobs and scraps. I am not a big bead fan in my own textile work. Often when I teach people comes with a lot of beads, I sometimes call it bead hell 😊
Another fabulous collage! I was thinking that two squares would be perfect for that space, and before you said it, I thought blanket stitch would be the just the right thing! I'd say that you hear me except I know you finished the collage long before I get to see it in the middle of the U.S! ;-)
The quote is from the movie, Forest Gump. I’m sorry to see this series end. I have 8 frames waiting for me to make collages for the Christmas boxes I fill each year. Thanks.
As always, thank you again for all the inspiration. Did you say what the found object was that you stitched to this last one was? I'm thinking a piece of rusty metal, but maybe not. Lovely series.
Your work is fascinating. I watch it all the time from Instagram to TH-cam and love it
