I got my XR a few weeks ago. I previously had a well-loved, long running 6s Plus. I gotta say I LOVE the XR. I'm already very used to what feels like a very natural and intuitive way of swiping and tapping and leaving the home button behind. The sound is amazing on this thing and so is the camera. I got the red at first but traded for the white. I've never been so satisfied with a phone!

@@jammysardines2455 Apple is completely doing away with 3D Touch anyway with iOS 14 (or was it done away in 13?). XS does NOT have a faster processor, they both have the A12 Bionic. Better water resistance, well what's the use? Battery, XR is 2900 mAh, XS is 3100 mAh but it'll drain much faster due to the higher resolution.

The Xr is going to be a great iPhone! I don’t know why there is so much hate. Lol it’s nothing like the 5C was back then. This iPhone has tons of amazing features that the X and Xs have. Face ID, full edge to edge display, it’s still water resistant, large 6.1in screen, fantastic camera, etc. If you want to stay current/updated but don’t really care about premium features this phone is perfect and it comes in funky fun eye catching colors 😁
720p on a large 6.1 screen, apple at least should of made it 1080p

Home here. The pricing of all the past + models when they came out would even be less than XR and if I buy an iPhone 8+ today I would get more for my money than what I would get from buying an XR... Really overpriced phones.

Travis Pluss facts! I had the XS Max and went to the AT&T store and played with the XR and 5 minutes later I told them I wanted to exchange and I don’t regret it at all.. I saved money, got better battery life, and it feels better in the hand.. it’s the perfect size honestly.. and the screen is...ALOT better than the specs lead you to believe

Your tax rate might be higher than midwestern or southern states, but it's no where near as high as it is in the UK. The tax on the Xs ends up being $167! That's about double what it is in California, and nearly 3 times as high as my city.

Darkboot1 I don’t think 4K is necessary, 1080p is great. In Macs and iPads 4K screens makes sense, but in iPhones 1080p is enough.

I’ve recently upgraded from the 6+ to the XR and I have to say I’m fairly impressed, especially with the battery life. I was really impressed with the battery life of my old phone, but the XR blows it away. The screen seems to be of similar quality to my old phone, but I never really use my phone for anything that requires a better resolution. The only thing I don’t really like is having to get used to not having a home button. It’s been a bit of a pain getting used to it, but I’m actually liking it better. Another complaint so far is the fact that the notch in the top of the screen gets in the way of some video and pictures, but again, not really a major issue. My only other complaint is with the Portrait Lighting feature on the forward facing camera. It doesn’t have all the lighting features that the selfie camera does, but again, no big deal. For anyone upgrading from an older model like the 6, 6S or even 7 series, I’d highly recommend the XR. Probably not gonna be that good of an upgrade if you’re going from an 8 or newer. If that’s the case, you might want to spring for the XS or XS Max, or maybe even waiting until September to see what’s going to be introduced

All previous iPhones had the lcd display nobody complained because it was good. Now people get something they will hardly distinguish from the lcd and start complaining. Their complaints are unreasonable.

Fun opinion...I believe the "R" in 10R stands for "Reach." If you go back and listen to Pull Shiller present the 10R for the first time, he said in the first one or two sentences that the 10R was developed to enable Apple to "Reach" a broader customer base with iPhone technology due to it's lower price. I can easily see Apple executives around the table, talking about naming schemes for the new iPhones, when "R" for "Reach" is suggested. It's very "Applesque," in my opinion, of course.

I'm poor i can't get an iphone xr... But i'm happy because i have a father, a mother, a house to live in. And if i can i will help people that are in need. Is not about phones. Is about life, about love, joy and happiness. Yes it's true i would love to have an iphone xr. I would be thankful even for an iphone 8 plus. I don't really care. I like the XR because of it's colors.

I mean if you have spare money then yes get it but if you barely live day to day its not worth upgrading if you already got iPhone 7-8 + to a xr

The real cause of naming it R was that the designer was a real fan of supercars, so he thought why dont put an R like how the supercar models are named.. And baaang iphone XR ready 💯
