- 8-Bit Eric ( 8BE ) This is 8-Bit Eric review of Farming Simulator for Nintendo Switch by 8-Bit Eric. Farming Simulator 17 is another installment in the Farming Simulator series. The game let’s the players to experience the work of a modern farmer. There is no story mode, it is a career mode that has you operating a farm. After you are done selecting one of three maps, There is a brief tutorial that shows you the basics of the game. You have to obtain machines and proper tools needed for sawing, planting, and gathering crops, as well as moving the goods around. You must try and not only make sure the equipment and food are being produced and kept up but also that the farm is actually turning a profit. I find farm sim to be a very good what Id call a "podcast game", something very simple for your hands and eyes to do and keep you a bit more alert if you're listening to a podcast or orher radio/news program without distracting you from whatever you're listening to.

I love FS and I have never farmed. It's called relaxation bro. Playing with friends is really fun. Working together to run the most efficient farm is extremely rewarding.

My 6 yr old got this game for one of his Bday gifts. He freaking loves it. He actually harvested a cornfield. You have to have a internet in farming to enjoy this. Personally I like the ones on PS4 they are more realistic.

I may give this a try. I have never played these kind of simulator games of this nature Eric, but it does seem somewhat different and may surprise me.
Iam addictive to farming simulator 17 😬I play it alot farming simulator 17 is the best farming simulator in gaming.
I'm disappointed that this edition took out the ability to knock over road signs and mailboxes. I aimed for those on purpose when I had the game on xbox through game pass. Was a little disappointed when I bought it for the Switch and found out you just go through the signs and mailboxes there. But at least it was on sale.

City boy as well but living at country side atm. What interests me is the community and economy. What i think would be rly fun is like an online auction house. I mean the game would be totaly offline but there would be a online economy were you buy and sell like seeds or equipment or animals for that matter to other players.

This game is great. Definitely don’t get fs20 on the switch. The graphics might look a tad bit more plasticy with this but there’s way more features and I think there’s all the customization options for your equipment which the newer version does not have. I’d rather go to pc and get fs22 but I’m stuck with playing the mobile game on switch for now.

I’m a bit late but this is on sale on Nintendo eshop for £7.79 (normally £25.99). Ends in 5 hours though lol. Who knows it might help someone. I purchased 2019 version on PC last week otherwise I would of grabbed the deal myself.
I find it funny, most people who play farming simulator usually get the most fun when they aren't farming. I recommend buying a farming simulator game on PC for modding and playing multiplayer with your friends. There are joke vehicles and so on with mods. You really only need to buy 1 game on PC and never really need to buy the sequels unless you are dedicated. Most people only buy 2013 because it is the most popular one with more mods. I recommend buying 2013 when it is on a sale.

Yo people that have this game, I implore you to try out a little glitch I found. First get a log, second stand over the log, third crouch and pick up the log, last let go of crouch and watch what happens.

I've always been oddly curious about these games. I'm pretty sure all it would take for me to pick this up is a solid modding community that created some ridiculous stuff.
There is actually mods in farming sim, in the game, but if you get a pc version you could look up mods online.
What I did is I found out a money glitch of youtube and bought everything in the store and just went crazy but when I did that I got to have so much more fun than before.
Own this on the ps4. Really enjoy it, but I will wait for a sale on the switch. If there was mods, I would have instantly bought it.

How's this compare to the 23 version?
What sort of maps do they have??, no one is talking about it, i dont suppose it has any canadian maps eh? (even tho we are one of the north american countries) & it says they have NA maps lol everyone haant mentioned Canada anything😐 Most of our area is rural country with farms lol, and we have a big business with it! probably more than any other country and its weird we arent mentioned in it at all, seems like we deserve to be in it, and again were left out.
Heres alittle farm fact for ya : We are the largest producers of soybeans and dairy.
I enjoy and American and Euro Truck Simulators. Haven't played many others, though.
Which I actually planned both I don't play The farm Sim on Nintendo switch but that's actually the enhance version of 17 19 is way more better on it you can you download mods on it for PC console all that stuff so I recommend 19 better than 17 and the switch version

I love Stardue Valley farming. Is this as fun?
I would not use the word fun to describe FS.It is however really enjoyable and I love it. Totally different from Stardew Valley, it way more involved. Try out one of the old phone versions for free or a couple bucks. The switch version has waaay more to do, but you'll get the idea.

Loved the game on PC. The draw distance is really bad on the switch (well also on pc but i could change that in the Ini.files) graphics is to bad but the switch version in tv-mode you see alot of jaggy lines, rough shadows. But the core game can be fun.
