Just to add to this, even though there is no campaign per se, there is a single player challenge mode with set scenarios that require objectives to be met and medals awarded. Whilst there is no story or anything, there is a LOT of content for those playing by themselves. And Team 17 are looking into a proper invite system, but you can play with friends by joining their lobby. Not as difficult as the review may imply. Aside from those nitpicks, great review!
Is there a ranking system at all, similar to Worms Armageddon when you win a game you move up from rookie to private, and so on? That alone kept me coming back because I always kept a perfect win/loss with no losses

I played worms on PS1 back when it was new . Never played the Amiga version but Ive played most other worm games ... Armageddon being my favourite. Its on sale atm on eshop for £4
I have never owned a Worms title before, but I have played it with friends in the past. They are fun games, for sure. This might be another one to get. Too bad about not being able to play with friends online, though. That would have been a great feature.

It’s like a way better game then Birds!! I was lucky enough to get a physical copy of this bad boy from Limited Run. Believe it or not I had NEVER played one of these games before. Now I want to find some of the og titles!!
I love the art direction. Its like Rayman meets Worms and we get this. I have not really dug the art direction sense Worms World Party. I did not know this existed. I will be getting it.

So if i buy this and my brother buys it we can't even play each other. Fail. Thats the whole point of getting it. To play friends. Thanks you just saved me $30
I really like this game. But I'm a little disappointed that there is no pneumatic drill or dragon ball. I hope they decided to bring worms armageddon and world party to the switch
Hundreds of hours spent on worms armageddon for the GBA, in study hall and lunch breaks. Unfortunately nothing can ever replicate that experience. I dont like the new graphical style.
J- Wall if you play online then yeah, Armageddon is the best. However, it’s pretty darn far from the best when it comes to single player content. Probably still arguably the best all round due to sheer features. Though with the amount of support it’s had over the years, it should come as no surprise.

What's the first, Worms 2 Armaggeddon, prefer 3D one, Worms Ultimate Mayhem, should of been that one, 2D ones don't last long.

You could simply set up a lobby and have him join. The online is pretty dead on the switch version so he’d probably find the lobby right away.
