ISS PRO EVOLUTION 2 was my favorite when I was a kid. Me, my brother and cousins used to play that game from Friday (after school) till Saturday night. Complaining about each other’s tactics, teams, freekicks, spending hours to find right formations, changing players roles ... that was an awesome passion. Good old days ... I wouldn’t mind to play it for days still.

When it comes to game play there's no comparison, FIFA for kids PES for real football players and real football minds who appreciate the art of football. A lot of FIFA fans slated FIFA 19. Fancy menus and back ground screen don't make a good football game. Game play and realism is what makes a football game and PES is king. FIFA had to copy PES game play as FIFA was getting left behind
I love that mode on PES2013 too. Used to play it for hours until the heat destroyed my laptop's battery. Lmao! I got a new laptop anyways, but I play PES 2019 with a 2022 patch now and still, you guess it. I only play become a legend. I'm presently in Athletico Madrid 🥴
Well tbh pes 6 is the best. My laptop cannot handle the later versions of pes but I feel like playing pes 6 is way better than other fifa games around the time. I have a fifa 05 and 04 in my laptop but they're not as enjoyable as pes.
I always played PES. Fifa sucks really hard. They only have sales because of what you said, and the Ultimate Team is something Konami is still yet to do. The online in pes is horrible. Plus, Not having the licenses doesn't matter. Every year there is a patch made by the community with everything right.

I quit playing PES because of PES 2008. That was the year when they started to copy FIFA and gave up the soul of PES. This year I came back with PES 2019. It's an incredible game, it's original PES again. Thank you KONAMI!
Mahmut123456 you're right. The soul of pes is back this year. The gameplay is like pes 6 on ps 2 with an amazing graphic. The Last 10 years if played fifa but this year I'm back to pes. I really love this so much.
@boss Humm yes it reminds me of the old days of PES 5 or PES 6. I played on PC back then though. If you've been playing FIFA in the last years, you will need 5 to 10 games to get back, so be patient. I wish they solve the licensing problems in the coming days and I will not go back to FIFA ever again :)
PES 3 was incredible, it was when PES really hit its prime, it was so amazing for the time. PES 4 was disappointing, there was a problem with goalkeepers not diving, gameplay was still good but it was a little broken. PES 5 was back to its best, an absolute masterpiece.
Pes 5 and 6 were the pinnacle of the series. They have never come close to that balance of gameplay and fun factor. The modern games last maybe a month and they are dead.

Always used to think, around that time (purely based on gameplay) for every one thing u cud do on fifa u cud do it 15 different ways on pes. They were far simpler than 14 onwards but the level of enjoyment playing football was the best

I've had nearly all of these games for me pro evolution has nailed it ....only had one 15 mins of fifa in my life round my friends house back in 2004 it was soo bad it was like the players were on ice and it was far to easy to score ...when you score in pro evolution it feels like a real goal ....mate turned fifa off and redeemed pro evolution ever since ...I don't really care about names and kits gameplay is what counts .the graphics are are amazing. they were amazing on the ps2 ! I've yet to play the new fifa games I hear there about on level par. there's die hard fifa there's die hard pro evo . I'm die hard pro evo .

I played PES 6, FIFA 08, FIFA 10, PES 2011, PES 2012, FIFA 12, PES 2013, FIFA 14, FIFA 15, FIFA 17, FIFA 19. After PES 2013, the game was not the same so I changed to FIFA but now i'm thinking moving again to PES 2020
Yes, the game experience changed a lot beginning pes 2014 through pes 2018 but frankly, I think pes 2019 is good again, and it gives me the joy the same like what I got when I played pes 08. I look forward to pes2020.

I'm still playing PES 2 on my smartphone (with an emulator) and PES 6 on my computer ✌😁✌ I always felt like every player in PES somehow had a "soul", a distinct "personality" (even the ones created by myself)..I mean, you really had to adjust your way of playing depending on which player had the ball.. In FIFA, the differences between players were barely noticeable for most of the games imo..
I do wish we had the option of the old master league style. 4 leagues of random teams. On pes 19 only English league and French league have relegations.

PES really struggled once it made its way to the 360 and PS3, however last season's effort was superb. Yet to play 2019.
