- Here is the ultimate ranking of all Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) games, from the worst to the best. To make this ranking of the 24 PES games, we used the press review of each game. For each review, we set the score out of 100. So we averaged all the tests, which gives us an overall of 100 for each game.

Thats worst pes i ever played.Their movements are so plastic they never try to take space and run between defenders they are constantly static very slow at running with ball and their turning on a side is way to much retarded.Pes16 is best a real tiki taka pes with great freedom of playing attacking and atractive football.And also sliding tackle is everything but sliding.Its like when a 2yrs old child falls on ass.

The best PES is the one that allows you to play any kind of football and score every kind of goal, and there's been editions that doesn't allow for that to happen, good examples being Pes 11-13. Pes 21 has some very good elements, but is kinda broken, awkward and too unresponsive. My recommendations would be Pes 4 - 6, Pes 1 - 3 might be too basic/dated.
First time ever playing PES was 2003. I won a copy from answering 3 questions correctly about the 1994 World Cup. Anways, if I had not won that copy I would of probably never played the best soccer game ever.
2008,2005,2016-20 and 6 were great

2008 was dogshit after awesome games in 5 and 6. They didnt handle the transfer to next gen at that time and didnt recover for a long time imo

And PES 3 is the third best. PES 3 was highly advanced for its era, mindblowing gameplay for 2003, especially when compared with other football games of its time such as FIFA 2003 or This is Football 2.

PES 2 was awful with extremely weird tackling and very poor defensive play. PES 4 was far too arcade-like and you could chip the keepers every time. The PES 3 era for me is a complete write-off. The games prior to PES 1 are not PES games lol, so should not have even been included on this lost by the TH-cam channel.
I love how this TH-cam channel thinks that some of the earlier ISS games and PES 2 and PES 4 are better than PES 6, just hilariously bad. Anyway, great taste re your number one and two.

ISS 2 on the PSone, played the shit outta dat game in my early years of med school! Funny thing is, I couldnt find a copy in English so twas the Shooto Miss legendary commentary, me and my colleagues loved it.

@@inventionscreator8875 Wrong. You can score from the midfield in PES 3. Because goalkeepers are broken, players with high shot pwr and accuracy like Batistuta and Vieri just need to fill the bar and knuckle shot from the midfield.

We used to change the game files on PC and then burn ourselves a hybrid Japanese/European version for a chip modded PS2 with all licenses and leagues etc. That was a glorious PES/Winning Eleven era for sure. Ithink I liked PES 5 better when PES 6 came out. Until PES 2015 those were the best to me.

Pes 4 was my first pes too and I fell in love with it, with the gameplay, the realism, the motion, physics, and the way the brazilian phenomeno Ronaldo ran, with his gloves, he looked like he ran in real life, wow.

Recently have PES 6 Xbox360 (Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 USA) I heard its one of the best pes game ever.
PES 1 was the start of something special and is pure nostalgia and the ISS games on PS1 were different class in their time, thats when the love affair with Pro Evo started. PES 2 still plays a good game even these days.The PS2 games were great. PES 5, ref kinda ruined it, way too many fouls but the passing is spot on. PES 6 for pure enjoyment, still play it now. 8 and 9 weren't great but 10 is good, great ML in PES 10. 11, 12 13 didn't really do it for me tbh, I've played PES 13 so many times and I just don't get it, which I know is blasphemy, players are slow and have awkward movement IMO and it's way too easy to score long shots. 14 looked amazing and had some decent game play but was a half finished game using the new engine, 15 was the real come back and it was great, what 14 should have been. 16 - 18 were top notch IMO but 19 and 20 are not for me, I play em (mostly editing) but there is something missing from the current games - scripting and everything seems pre-determined, too automated and sterile like they just want a FIFA copy. I play on pass setting 1 (sometimes manual) but it's still a poor gaming experience - it's no fun at all to play - Konami just care about Myclub and the $ these days which is a shame. I'd rather have no licenses, full edit mode and fun, chaotic, immersive game play like it was on the PS2.
one of the biggest dissappointments in gaming is going from the masterpiece that was PES 6 to the absolute dumpster fire that was pes 2008. The new platform promised so much, yet konami delivered so little.

PES 6 and PES 2017 are top two for me.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 will forever be the best PES
I stopped playing footy games after about 2015ish, but up until then, the standout titles were Fifa International Soccer (1994), ISS 1998 and Pes 2 or 3...cant remember, but just blew me away. Favourite is probably ISS '98 in its time period, never bothered buying a new footy game till the early 2000s as I loved that one so much.
Pes 16 was best for me because it was revolutionary
I have always loved PES more than FiFA. My Favorite of all time is PES 4 I played it with my brother all the time and became really good at it, I loved everything about it, my idol is Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, and he is so good there. Plus I love the classic teams, and players. i still play it till this day on Xbox initially and also years later I bought it on PS2 too.

PES 2017 is the last truly great pro evo game on the ps4 era. It was excellent and in my opinion one of, if not the best pes of all time. It is on par with the 2013 and 5/6 versions. The problem is that, after the disasterous 2014 version and the mediocre 2015 version, many people switched to fifa and never came back. 2016 ironically was a good game and better than the previous ones but 2017 was peak gaming, way better than 2016, the must fun and most balanced pes, hands down. 2018 made me feel weird when paying it. It was something that i just didnt like about that game. The graphics, the AI behavior, the grass which looked like a big green plastic hall, i dont know. The one that i bought (again) recently is 2019, because i think that after the datapacks and updates it became a VERY good pes indeed. It just had a rough start on the season. Efootball 2020/21 were the reason i stopped playing pes games and this says alot.

PES 2008 is what made me give up on the PES series. 2008 is probably the worst footie game I’ve ever played. So sad how PES fell off after PES 6 on PS2. PES 2,3,4 & 5 are the best I’ve ever played, especially PES 5.
Pes13 was legendary. I still play it , even though I love pes19 . Been playing Pes since 2004. And by far pes13 is the best. I don’t know why but it seem so effective. Its so annoying bcs now technology is so advanced and Pes looks trash year after year. 2020 is just terrible I threw it out of the window. Can’t pass, can’t run, can’t dribble, through ball is just terrible, fucked up game. Hand in my heart 2013 is Iconic level .

Pes 2020 is the most technical with the best physics in dribble. Simply you don't know how to be technical. Also is the most tactical.
