Another stunning building. I love the clean lines, particularly the entrance area. No expense seems to have been spared which is so refreshing to see. When I compare the area to London it's not hard to see which country is going forward, unlike our own cheap crammed-in, Brexit suffering Britain.

Another great video! It’s amazing how quickly areas can change in Bangkok. It’s nice to see progress but I hope the city maintains the charm and character that makes such a special place. Keep up the great work and thank you for all you do.

I LOVE it; progress. It still has everything else that makes Thailand amazing. The contrast is what makes it, you don't have to look too far to find the old and traditional and cultural. It's all good. Old with the new-Amazing Thailand. ❤️🙏🏼🇹🇭 How do I get 7-11 "Hello Welcome" as my ring tone?? 😃😅👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼I love it too!

Here in Ubonratchathani we also have some 7-11 shops with the "Hello welcome" voice when the door opens. When you heard it so often, you tend to forget it is there or at times it becomes annoying. I guess it is similar to hearing the "Please mind the gap" like a million time in the trains 🙂

Excited too see the center Modernize unlike others! With the expansion of the Public Transportation places that are dilapidated can transform to a pub street night life hub that ppl wish for! Even places around Don Mueng that used to be popular could be revitalized to a nice hang out spot! Though I would like to see these new buildings commission some Creative Thai Artist for a Masterful Piece!!! Without creative art the space is ….

Since I haven't been to Bangkok since November 2019 & knew this area well may I say Thanks for this vlog.
When I first visited Bangkok in 2003 there was an abandoned & half-built Tower block standing where the O-NES is now. A victim of the Asian financial crash approximately 5 years before? Where the JLK stands on soi 7 was indeed some bars but along Sukhumvit was a series of craft shops.
Once JLK opens my guess is those vendors which operate alongside it on Suk will be "moved on." Which leaves those buildings next to it along to soi 11 (including soi 7/1) a prime area for redevelopment. Similar from soi 7 to soi 5 or even to soi 3? One thing about Bangkok is that it doesn't stand still where developments are concerned.

Great video! I am going to be back soon. I think this is one of many projects started before Covid, just like the one on Sukhumvit 22, which is huge and near finish. It's a good news for incoming visitors, because housing supply and demand off balance continues, and and short time rental become more available and cheaper. I made a video on this topic a few weeks ago, check it out if you are going to be in Thailand.

Bangkok is transforming into a well planned city. Nana used to be a very dark area during day time and it is amazing what difference it makes when you setback the front area for open green space for a high rise building and now natural daylight is streaming in.

      A Thai here,
I noticed the massive improvement during the last few months for street lights re-installation with obvious replacement to LED, signal light and countdown for crossing, more clear signs for traffic lanes. I’m glad to see major development to the city. We still have big room to improve when it comes to safe and organized footpaths and taking down the cables and poles.

Ehhh BKK has a Steady Progression Change! Once you compare BKK to Metro Manila, KL etc have completely modernized many areas while Bangkok has been modernizing the areas yet not completely! Technically by Now Sukhumvit should’ve already been Completely Modernized from On nut to Siam with the 20+ yr BTS history but it hasn’t! Also with the expansion of Public Transportation Line areas outside the city center has create businesses at cheaper areas and focus hopefully becoming some cool hubs to hangout enjoy!

00:07:05 : Actually, in late 2010 this exact spot was the place where the trailer park of the crew that was filming Hangover Pt.2 was located. But except for those few weeks it was eventually empty land in the decades before that, AFAIK.
