Ghost X $23 S3 $30 Assault $31.50 (my son swung this @ 10U) Mako $37 Omaha 516 $38 S1 $40 Again, 99% of folks will look back on what they spent on -10 bats and realize it didn't matter at all. Get some quality instruction if you want to spend. (Even that can be debated) really like this video!
ah yes forgot to mention that. The bat weighed 19.5 on a scale (29/19 bat) but Lukas did mention it does swing slightly heavy for a single piece alloy. Said he still wouldn't call it "heavy" but more so than the Cat's felt.
Another great review. We have the Select Pwr, which I would assume is similar to this in regards to alloy vs composite. My son is 7 turning 8. Thanks again!
@@sonnick yeah similar, I would categorize the Select PWR as a fairly light swinging 2-piece alloy in USSSA. Very similar to the Cat connect series or even the 2 piece The goods from Demarini. Funny enough a lot of people see the BBCOR reviews of the goods and its a VERY end loaded heavy bat in BBCOR. In USSSA its the complete opposite, very light swinging. Would probably still stick to alloy for 7/8 year olds as I think it will likely just perform better until they start seeing some faster pitching and develop higher bat speed!
@@NoBSBeardReviews he actually likes them a lot. Has only taken BP with them a few times so far but quality seems solid. Built in hitting aid is interesting. Threw him off a bit at first but I asked him after how he thought they felt and he said he liked them a lot! Think a good alternative to BB at a solid price
@@PerformanceFactoryBaseballyeah, my son has a pair of BB’s and the D1’s. At first he didn’t like the D1’s but eventually got used to them. We realized all his best hits over the last year were with him wearing the D1’s. He still goes back and forth between both companies but I’ve been super impressed with the D1’s.
@@refugiozavala520 yup starting at about 4:20 I talk about the exit velocity a bit and put it on the screen. A bit down compared to some of the hotter composites but still very competitive.

Don’t forget to mention perceived swing weight and balance. If you measure the actual bat weight compare that to what it’s listed as. Thanks!

How’s he liking those D1 batting gloves?
