very hot but very different. Almost have to look at them completely differently than the modern stuff. Like I mentioned in the video your average kid would pick up a new 29/19 and then pick up this and probably say "woah this is heavy and end loaded" haha
I assume you are referring to the big barrel omens. We've had multiple skinny omens in multiple lengths and none were impressive. I have heard good things about the big barrel omens.
@@malcolmrosario469 thanks! Surprisingly our drop 10 meta is actually pretty light on a scale. Should have a review of it up within the week! As of right now in drop 8 my vote is still the icon. Just got in the Cat X2 composite as well and initial impressions were very positive!
Looking for a grail I end spending 70 on a CF drop 10 used and is surprisingly good… is looking better than the hype… the Exit velo feels faster… not a new bat but still good… some other ideas for reviews and content
Yeah I feel like the CF was a somewhat underappreciated bat of the last few years. It was obviously extremely popular for a while but has a huge sweet spot and is easy to swing. The newer Zen seems to be more Zoa like and swings a bit heavier imo.
Yeah in reality they need a bit more velocity than probably shown here. There was a few times where he caught it you could hear it get that broken in sound.
@PerformanceFactoryBaseball we have hit 28,39,30 and 31 in the silver bullets. Great bats. The hottest bats we have seen is a zoa that just got a crack. Those next 50 or so swings before it is toast beats anything we have tested.
@@PerformanceFactoryBaseball they were fricken hot a decade ago! Still are bouncy as heck. Game only as they do tend to dent. Having an older kid has me in tune w the old Goats! Over a decade of this madness w 2 boys (BBCOR now). Anyway, train w wood, train w that XL1. He'll miss less w the fat barrels, that make it tough to miss anyway.
All the skinnies are amazing, have had them all. We have 5 skinnies now
@@patrickrussell7705 yeah I would definitely be interested in trying a few others! Have always heard good things about the 2015 Mako
Great stuff, have always been interested in some of these older bats and how they compare to today’s bats.

Silver XL1 is very good. The omen is the hottest usssa ever.
@@regionrat337 yeah I’ve seen some people mention the omen. Would be interesting to swing!

Awesome channel! Heard the new meta is a LOG. We’ve had a few get early release all saying the same thing. What do you think is the best drop 8?

@@PerformanceFactoryBaseball awesome, yeah would love to know what yall think of the new marucci. Thanks!
@@malcolmrosario469 just posted the video of it last night!
@@PerformanceFactoryBaseball ha, I just saw that!! Will watch it now. 😂

@@CaliRican787 this is how to buy -10 bats! 🙌🏻
Are you guys going to do any drop 10 USA bat reviews?
I have been considering picking one up to do a usssa vs USA bat comparison. Something like the Easton ADV
Silver bullets sound like wet paper towels when fully broken in.

Get you a Worth Prodigy.
honestly forgot Worth even made baseball bats at one point haha. So used to their slow pitch softball stuff

we swung the new meta prime at a demo, things a dud.
ah that's unfortunate. What drop did you guys swing?
