For me, The delivery time from the February sale was a very long time and with no tracking details, but it did arrive and I’m very happy. My negative comment is for the joining of the links two links down from the case, (on each side) they are a little loose and show a gap when on wrist compared to the other links, on a 7 inch wrist..
That wrist shot in the sun was simply stunning! Really brings the gold colour to life. I love that they're doing these homages that others aren't, they must have done 7 by now and all of them have been well done. And that bracelet... wow. Great review and really enjoyed the closeups with the optical zooms. I agree about maybe adding a half index at 3, but other than that, I really can't find a fault with it.

That more curvature to the links really does add something to the design that takes it above the old 7/10 bracelet from before. Enjoyed the video, the detail zoom in was very nice, and the comparisons really added a lot there as well.

Although this model isn't my favourite, your video on the 2215 homage was the last nail in the coffin that made me get one for myself. I really really love this watch, i am a fan of the original VC 222 because there is just nothing like it on the market, and i love this one even more there are 7 things that stand out to me about this watch, First and foremost the price because while i may not be able to afford the original one 85 dollars are still justifiable, then the shape/look (in its faithfulness to the original), i really love the materials used especially at this price, then i love the butterfly clasp because in my opinion it just adds that small little bit of fanciness to it and the size is just so so amazing and i also really love the beehive look of the bracelet, i dont think ive seen it anywhere else, also the finishing is just immaculate especially at this price point andit just looks so so so good in gold

Its quite legible since it has a bend in the middle it will always reflect light on either side. But I would have loved gold with deep black dial personally 👌

I think you've given me at least 7 reasons to like the S&S, despite some minuses, however, the one thing THAT I am drawn to has got to be the little etched logo which breaks up the symmetry

I first heard THAT a different brand was making 222 homage, but the random name it had really made it look a lot worse. I like their name as it just sounds nice. A great watch for the price. I saw THAT dog 7 times.
Yes their previous bracelets was worse, but for this model it certainly has improved but its not like thier PRX bracelets. Even the original 222 doesnt drape fully by design. Personally I am lucky to have a bigger wrist so it hasnt been an issue, but there are certainly lots who didnt get a proper fit :/ Anyway, welcome to the channel brother! :D
Great review. So nice to finally see someone measure the lug to lug inside the bracelet, as you say, the external measurement is irrelevant. I have to say, that San Martin didn't look 7 times better than the 222.

Indeed it is! However the sad thing as with any gold plated watch is that it will go off in a couple years with heavy use. If the $84 is a lot to someone then I highly recommend the non plated versions as they will last much longer Good luck! 🥳

That being said, thank you for your reply about them being on vacation... really put my heart at ease after making the payment 😂. Now the stress will be about the way the watch will fit...my wrist is about 54 mm from side to side. Worrying that those links being quite large, there won't be room for any finer adjustments. For reference, my wrist is 6,5-6.6 inches around. Cheers! Subscribed and wishing you a lot of followers. Would like to see what other watch brands you keep in high praise.
@@SerialWheeler fine adjustment is not easy you are correct, heard from the seller he might consider making half links, so if you get a bad fit then message him and ask to get one when available 😉 54mm side to side should be no issues at all 👌
@@RIOLOGY Just received the silver variant with green dial. Love the finishing. Looks extremely sharp 😮. Fits perfectly. You should definitely follow-up on a silver case. The only problem I had was with the movement (it keeps freezing for a while, so I need to poke the battery out and then carefully put it back together). I do think I'll be able to fix it tomorrow once I clean it thoroughly. Another point with problem are the links. Fine tuning is really bad, but I got lucky, removing 4 out of 6 links. BEWARE of the pins holding the links. On one side of the watch you had to push in the opposite direction of what the arrows on the links were showing 😂.

Not available in automatic from the company website. In fact, a search of 'Imperial automatic' yielded 0 results. It is also interesting that this range of watches is buried in the site such that you would not even know they made it. This is also true of a few other models.

It is almost 7 times cheaper than the PRX but it is a good homege with a Seiko movement! And it is good that case is not 1 to 1 copy, it has some originality.

Really appreciate that finishing section and also the optical imperfections under the zoom, I feel like with budget watches, channels don’t always look at the negatives. Shame about the date window on the quartz, 7/10 for that, 9/10 for the NH35 :)
I like the yellowish date window, it seems to match the colour of the watch nicely. I typically am not into gold watches like that one, but I 'd probably wear some real gold ones if I made seven times the annual income!

Well that was an interesting review. Always been a fan of the Vacheron Constantin watches and I feel like I can finally pull the plug on this homage. That watch is about 70,000 Gbp so I'll stick to this one. I can definitely by 7 of these hahha
It has held up like most gold plated jewellery, no issues yet with mine, but they will fade over time though, atleast rest assured its real Stainless Steel underneath and not some nasty alloy. But if you want this for a loong time, I always recommend no gold plating regardless of plating quality 😉

Imho quartz is better option s it is slimmer. As far I know original is without second hand as well.

They still can't quite seem to get an integrated bracelet to flex/drape. I have their Ingenieur homage and it's like a hoop bracelet around my wrist.

However the sad thing as with any gold plated watch is that it will go off in a couple years with heavy use. If the $84 is a lot to someone then I highly recommend the non plated versions as they will last much longer

Just purchased this after seeing your review from the same seller. Was reluctant at first since I saw 2-3 people that didn't receive their order, but I hope it will be sent to Romania with no problems. Got the stainless steel with green dial. @@RIOLOGY thought the same about the regular stainless not needing any babying around. That being said, thank you for your reply about them being on vacation... really put my heart at ease after making the payment 😂. Now the stress will be about the way the watch will fit...my wrist is about 54 mm from side to side. Worrying that those links being quite large, there won't be room for any finer adjustments. For reference, my wrist is 6,5-6.6 inches around. Cheers! Subscribed and wishing you a lot of followers. Would like to see what other watch brands you keep in high praise.
@@SerialWheeler fine adjustment is not easy you are correct, heard from the seller he might consider making half links, so if you get a bad fit then message him and ask to get one when available 😉

@@RIOLOGY Just received the silver variant with green dial. Love the finishing. Looks extremely sharp 😮. Fits perfectly. You should definitely follow-up on a silver case. The only problem I had was with the movement (it keeps freezing for a while, so I need to poke the battery out and then carefully put it back together). I do think I'll be able to fix it tomorrow once I clean it thoroughly. Another point with problem are the links. Fine tuning is really bad, but I got lucky, removing 4 out of 6 links. BEWARE of the pins holding the links. On one side of the watch you had to push in the opposite direction of what the arrows on the links were showing 😂.

Not available in automatic from the company website. In fact, a search of 'Imperial automatic' yielded 0 results. It is also interesting that this range of watches is buried in the site such that you would not even know they made it. This is also true of a few other models.

It is almost 7 times cheaper than the PRX but it is a good homege with a Seiko movement! And it is good that case is not 1 to 1 copy, it has some originality.

Really appreciate that finishing section and also the optical imperfections under the zoom, I feel like with budget watches, channels don’t always look at the negatives. Shame about the date window on the quartz, 7/10 for that, 9/10 for the NH35 :)

I like the yellowish date window, it seems to match the colour of the watch nicely. I typically am not into gold watches like that one, but I 'd probably wear some real gold ones if I made seven times the annual income!

Is the gold plating holding pretty good? Im debating on getting the silver version to not have discoloration
It has held up like most gold plated jewellery, no issues yet with mine, but they will fade over time though, atleast rest assured its real Stainless Steel underneath and not some nasty alloy. But if you want this for a loong time, I always recommend no gold plating regardless of plating quality 😉
