I’ve never been much of a Homage guy but a VC 222 is my dream watch and realistically I’m never going to own it. I think I’d get it in steel as the gold would fade on this model.

Liking this except for the noticeable dust on the hands and I think the dial. I have the green quartz which is fantastic for the price. The only watch I can compare it to is the Casio EFV-110 and the Addiesdive wins!

Be careful with the Proxima, "GMT master" is somewhat trademarked by Rolex.

The timascus aqua trident is very nice. I love some titanium Damascus I have a few knives with it on them great to see it on a watch. It’s not a cheap material.

A premium or budget version is a GREAT idea, I'd appreciate that for many watches. I can live with mineral but I everytime I lend a watch to my GF it comes back with scratches😂, so I'd go for the sapphire version for sure! Nice review BTW.

It would be better explaining the quality of the watch instead of reading the specifications.

Great presentation! I wonder if you missed something or there is variability in the product delivered, because I noticed, and many other people have commented, that even though the case is very nicely finished and beveled to avoid sharp corners, the bracelet is not. Sure it is very nicely chamfered for the visual effect, but the inside edge, and corners of the links on the outside edge, are very sharp out of the box. I think this is really a serious oversight on their part, and it gives off a cheap feel immediately to anyone who has experienced a luxury watch before. Personally, I spent probably a total of around 4 hours carefully filing and polishing the internal edge and interfacing edge corners of every single link, and now my own piece feels much more like a real luxury brand, without looking noticeably different. It's a difficult job to do without damage, and most people won't dare try. My 4 hours work could surely have been done in a fraction of that time on an assembly line, adding very little to the cost. I agree, too, about the lubrication or polish of the bracelet and clasp. The machine parts interface needs lubricating for feel, and the bracelet actually squeaks when left to dangle in the hand. Easily fixed with a quick oil and/or wax treatment,,, but I shouldn't need to do it myself. Most paying customers won't.

I reviewed the 36mm orange version, and it's fantastic. A Swiss equivalent would cost at least 5 times as much. I would love to see SM include a scratch resistant coating, but this is very rare with even top luxury watches

I’ve just entered the world of watches and recently bought my first watch, a Casio Edifice. Diving deeper into the knowledge of watches turns out to be very interesting, and I just learned that there are watches that don’t use batteries 😅. For now, I’m looking forward to owning a second watch with an automatic movement. Hopefully, I can get it by Christmas and New Year 2025 🎆🎄

Nicely done piece my good man! The PF Tonda is a dream piece for me even if the price is somewhat above my pay grade. Such strong vibes of that here, but not a copy. Love it. Let's lean on them for a 37 when they do their down-size thing. I have a CW Twelve Ti 36 in my collection and it's brilliant. This adds understated class to that look and I'd have it in a trigger-pull. For me 40 is too much watch for the style (16cm wrist) but gosh, bring it on....
