My confusion lies in that i should never sand a metallic paint. Was this metallic? Im using 1 stage paints, 3 to 4 hours between coats to save some time vs instructions. Then i believe compatible clear coat before 24 hours of drying. Return to sand & compound 2+ days later. Thats what they try to teach most of us.
They are not. They go over SPA, a different form of touching up. I’ll be going more in depth with touch up on here now the basics are covered. Make sure to like and follow! 😊
Hi and thx for the video. I tried something similar . Scratch is on plastic bumper. I applied paint, let it dry for 2 days as bottle said wait 24 hours to dry. Sanded with 2k paper, cleaned area and polished . Polished with DA and polishing pad with medium cut compound completely removed paint from scratched area. So i have to start again. Any suggestions? Thx

Sanding mettallic, if your repainting & blending with metallic, clear applied at apropriate time.
Awesome work! Thanks for sharing
Fantastic work
There's lots of details in that video, thankyou mate 👍
Great how to video and great paint job finish 👍👍
On the last step what pad, speed and compound did you use, pls?
Nice job. Will come in handy on my flip cars.
Do you ever add clear coat? My fear is some detailer comes along and wipes it off accidentally
Спасибо за то что делишся опытом.👍
Dayum!! Amazing work man!
What if thr car has clear coat? Does anything need to be done differently or anything we need to watch out for? Great vudeo.
mate, I'm wondering if you put varnish and hardener in the base when you repair scratches
Amazing result, thank you for this.
Excelente profissional, parabéns
Nice video sir. Can u upload how we can paint faded parts. I mean partially. Thanks
Cool video but what type of polish you finished with?
Is there a harder in the clear already? And I'm assuming there is a reducer in the paint already? Is this solvent paint?
Everything is separate, activator and reducer. And yep it’s solvent paint!
what do you charge for that touch up?
What did you use for your wax and grease remover
Excellent video sir. Thank you
Awesome job dude!
Sorry but did you add the ckear coat? If so which step of the process did you add the clear coat before sanding and polishing? Cheers awesome video

@@rooboy99 thanks man 👍 looks like it's mixed in with the base
Glad you’re back brother. Hope all is well. Great vid. Are the subscription ones on your Instagram more in depth than these. Just wondering. Thanks!

What brushes do you use?
I can still see the scratches slightly.. that due to texture being different. I use spray can which anyone can have paint shop for correct mixture
Post a video of you using a spray can
On the last step what pad, speed and compound did you use?
Cutting pad. 1900 to 2200 rpm. Many good compounds exist.
@@ITIRICIi hoping @auto_recon_ronnie would be able to share his process and info of what he was specifically doing on the final step.
Which temperature do you set the hot air gun?
What is the name of the paintbrush and wich model is it?
very nice work,,
Where can I get the Revemoto from?

Before applying paint wet sand area with 800grit
looks nice dude.
A link to that fine brush? TIA
Nice Job 👍do you have a link to the brush 👍
do you reduce the paint at all or add any activator to the clear?
I do sometimes for really thin scratches, I’ll over reduce. For this video I just used a little bit of activator.
No shit!!! Have to try this
what kind paint do u use?
Where are you located
You didant give the base coat any time to gas out thought.
love the language😂
Even if you sand, the metallic powder from the touch-up paint won't come to the surface. Why? It's amazing.
WOW!! 😮👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What happens if you use 300 then go to 200
Not being funny but most of that would of flat and polished out without the need for all that touch up
That's beautiful - thanks again @auto_recon_ronnie.
