      This fictional guy who probably has infinite real life struggling counterparts would probably be well known anywhere that sells liquor within walking distance of where he stays. I've known guys to wake up drunk, get drunker immediately, and just spend the day walking around town asking people to "pull out for him" (use your ID to buy him a bottle) because every liquor store, grocery store, and gas station refuses to sell to him. Alcohol can be very fun when used responsibly, but this man I knew is literally giving his entire life to the bottle every day

    • @koDaffi
      @koDaffi ปีที่แล้ว +18

      @@Godakuri It's almost impossible to sign back. They say to use black pen but a pen don't like writing on plastic. It's harder to steal credit cards out of mail these days cause they don't send them out willy nilly anymore. If a person is using a stolen card it's usually a family member or someone close to the person and they always get caught. I've seen so many people try it and they get arrested usually same day they try to use it.

    • @ReaganRuinedEverything
      @ReaganRuinedEverything ปีที่แล้ว

      Signatures are like lie detector tests. They mean absolutely nothing but many are gullible enough to think they do. You can get a professional who has only been in this field for their entire life and have them try and determine a signature from another or try and see if 2 are copies, and it's basically 50/50 if they will get it right. I could literally guess and have just as much of a chance of being correct as them, same goes for lie detector tests.
      Just check the ID and see if the name matches if they went to the extent of getting an entire fake ID, in order to make the names on the ID and credit card match, then I can guarantee you, they falsely signed the signature on the back, therefore, the signature itself doesn't even matter. Check the ID. If the names on both the card and the ID match, then just assume it's the right person, or at least somebody who's committing credit card fraud to a level that goes way above your fcking head. Deny service if they're sketchy, or let law enforcement deal with it.
      I can't even tell you the last time I used one of my cards, and signed with my own name. Sometimes I do Deadpool, sometimes Ryan Reynolds, if it's an electronic signature sometimes I just scribble the entire screen black. No ones check these signatures either.
      TSA is better security than signatures, and if I'm correct this year was the first year TSA actually stopped a threat. Over 90% of the time they fail. Americans love their security theater though.

    who cares you're not paid to be a detective. unless the card declines its not your business. I've never committed fraud so i'm not biased about it, unless you are being directly affected by someone's actions or you already know the action another person is committing will hurt an innocent person, then stay out of it, don't try to be a hero, it's not a mature trait to get into the business of another person unless u know exactly whats going on.

    Just a fun fact: when you report a credit card stolen, it will IMMEDIATELY send a EFIR (Electronic fraud identifier report) to the bank's (credit unions) to signify to ANY POS (point of sale) system to mark as stolen depending on the age of the device. Now its up to the merchant to IDENTIFY the card as stolen keep it and contact the local authorities asap but MOST carriers I've come across do NOT pay attention 🙄

      Not a single POS in my life has ever returned that a card is stolen or that it should be confiscated to me. I’ve used basically every system and definitely every major one.
