Three more wicked plants!!! I have a Grusonia Invicta, ( corynopuntia ) I love the way they pile up!! Watch handling that Euphorbia virosa!! These are very toxic!! And they have another suprise!! Sap under pressure!! They can squirt sap from injuries!! And cause skin burns like tirucalli & resinifera if sap is in contact with tender skin for too long . The other plant I've never had any of this genus very cool!!! Love your new plants Daz!!! Nice ones!!! Thanks for sharing Daz!!! Can't wait for the next " wicked" unboxing!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to the UK 🇬🇧 and Singapore 🇸🇬 have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌴🌿🌳🌸🌷🌾💐🌱🌹😃👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Yeah I just read the other day the sap in virosa is a particularly nasty one. I guess this is the true poison tree Euphorbia hence the name Gifboom! I’m loving these smaller clumping type of Opuntioid, but they all have nasty glochids lol. The next wicked plant unboxing will be fun! Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Oh, 2 new cacti genus for me. Looks similar to a Tephrocactus but maybe because they are still young. You have been getting ones with vicious spines lately. Let me know if you want a Teddy bear cholla lol!
Thank you so much, Ana 😊 Haha yeah I’m getting into these types more. I’m not sure if I’d want a teddy bear cholla, though 😬 They’re apparently the worst lol. I’ll let you know if I change my mind 😅 Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day and new week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜☕️
The first plant unpacked -at first I thought a kind of tephrocactus. You are right about John's inns no 2 seems the quality has deteriorated. Fierce looking plants.
Thank you so much, Magda 😊 Yeah the composts now are just terrible. Plants are liking the coco coir much more anyway. Thanks for watching and commenting as always. Have a wonderful day and new week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Thanks so much, Luka 😊 That’s becoming one of my favourite Euphorbia already. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day and new week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Excellent unboxing video, Daz! I love all three! I appreciate the spiny ones now as long as I'm not in the same room 😂! My favorite is the Euphorbia Virosa although all are gorgeous. I think you got a great deal on these too! And it's always great to find a seller you can really trust. Thank you for sharing and I hope you and Edith have a great week my friend!
Thank you so much, Jeff 😊 Yeah his plants are always in fantastic condition and have been grown well. Need to calm down a bit on new purchases, though haha. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend. Have a wonderful day and new week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Thanks so much again, Vanesa 😊 Yeah I couldn’t pass that one up. Very happy to have it in the collection. Thanks for watching and commenting as always. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Cool 😎😎🌵🌵😎😎 Some lovely little Opuntioids there 🙂🙂Love a good glochiding 😁 Interesting that you were holding a poison tree without using gloves or holding the antidote 😮😮👻👻🌵🌵 Hope you and Edith have a safe and lovely evening 😊😊🌵🌵
Thank you so much, Ziggy 😊 Yeah if I'd known a little bit more about it beforehand, I'd definitely have handled it a little more carefully. Virosa is apparently the most toxic of all Euphorbia, that's currently known. Its toxic sap is also under high pressure, so even a little cut or wound on the epidermis can be hazardous. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
As always wonderful presentation, informative and inspiring. You bring peace and tranquility in a hectic, chaotic world. Please keep giving us this opportunity to share your love of these incredible plants. Also your selection of music is wonderful. Thank you. Peace
WOW Daz AWESOME Unboxing and absolutely BEAUTIFUL new stunners, the Corynopuntia and Maihueniopsis are AWESOME and the Euphorbia virosa is WOWSERS, we love the spiral thorns, and FANTASTIC repottings of all three, I have noticed that the quality of John innes soil brands so awful now too, Clover is the only decent one but its so hard to get now, absolutely AWESOME cinematic footage too, beautiful new beauties to your incredible collection, thanks so much Daz for sharing with us, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a fantastic Sunday today XXXX
Thank you so much, Lyn 😊 Super happy to have these three, especially the Euphorbia. I need to stop looking at new plants for sale, though. It’s getting addictive buying them 😅 Yeah the amount of contaminants I keep finding in the bags of compost lately is pretty bad. Makes me wonder what soil diseases could be lurking in there as well, which is the main reason I’m using coco coir now. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Lyn. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you and Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
@@Cactimania hahaha it really is addictive, we got some new cacti from our cactus society last week too, there is always room for one more or a few more we say haha XXXX 🤣❤🌵🏜☀🌞😎😃
3 amazing new plants...nicely repotted! The Corynopuntia and the Maihueniopsis are beautiful but real biters! The Euphorbia is a stunner! Thanks for sharing these beauties! Have a wonderful evening Daz and Edith!
Another great video Gorgeous plants I especially like the shape of the Euphorbia. Interesting to see the unusual plants you can get hold of Difficult here, partly due to living in remote ish country town and also the strict quarantine requirements in Australia
Thank you so much, Ted 😊 Yeah I’ve heard they’re pretty strict there on plants. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day and new week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜
Lovely new plants, Daz! Enjoyed watching! Always intrigues me to see what potting mix you will be using and any new updated tweaks you've made. It's so nice using Coco Coir, it goes a long way! When we are adding our fertilisers, feed pellets, worm castings, zeolite, various stones etc etc I don't think a soil or loam is necessary now in our modern trendier ways of growing our plants in this day and age because we are supplementing plants with everything they need. The coco coir is excellent at holding onto the nutrients and water we add and is clean. Great to see you on the coconut band wagon😄👍🏻🌵
Thank you so much, Claire 😊 Yeah I’m just not comfortable anymore putting expensive plants into a soil that could contain pests and diseases. Not only that but the amount of other contaminants I’m finding in it is unacceptable. I forgot to mention in the video as well the amount of weed/grass seeds that seem to be in composts now, too. A few days after potting a plant up loads of weeds sprout up out of the pots! I bought some nice high quality coco coir the other day. I might actually do a review on it. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Claire. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Enough waffle! You’ve gotten yourself awesome plants from this seller again, Sweetheart! 😂 I remember someone promising ‘No more…this will be the last one. Promise.’ 😅 They’re all gorgeous so I can’t blame you. Loved watching with you and love the super clear video featuring the plants at the end. ❤️🌼🌺🌸🌵💚
Haha thank you so much my love 🥰 Wont be buying any for a while now as there is your box to come yet lol. Loved watching with you too, babe. And thank you for the new light, it’s made a huge difference ❤️ Thank you for all your love, support and encouragement as always ❤️🌵🤗😘🌸❤️
WONDERFUL three new plants that you got yourself there, Daz! And the twisting form of the Euphorbia virosa is a true STUNNER, wow!!, well done for catching that one!! The other two are also beautiful to look at, but as you say, to be handled with the outmost care, haha! never get into a quarrel with those two, lol!! Thanks for sharing my friend, and wishing you and Edith a wonderful Sunday and a great week ahead my friends!!
Thank you so much, Joe 😊 Yeah I couldn’t let the Euphorbia slip away, to be honest I thought it was going to sell for more. Haha those two are pretty nasty with the glochids they have on them. Already got a few from the Corynopuntia in my fingers and they’re super irritating! Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself and happy growing as always 👍🏻🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺☀️
Haha no worries, Scott. He’s quite a popular seller and one of my viewers was also bidding on the Euphorbia virosa. I won’t be bidding on any of the plants he has this time around, though. Even though he has a lovely Cylindropuntia rosea, but I’m pretty sure that is the unidentified one Ziggy had that he thought might have been a molesta, and I now have a cutting of that 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌸🏜
