- Hola lovely peeps! This woman-owned cactus and succulent shop, Mimi Nursery in Garden Grove, CA, blew my mind with the rarest of the rare this past weekend. I just knew I had to share it with you. Bop around with me on this adventure!

I noticed some outrageous prices on these. I've never paid more than $10 for a cactus. The rarity of these must make them expensive. Nice pots, too. 🌵

OMG, if anybody really thinks she wasn't sitting there with a list of all those names doing voice over, you're insane. I admire her knowledge and being able to pronunciate all those names, but please. Beautiful video. Beautiful cacti. Some common names would be even better, for those of us who don't stand a chance at the scientific names.

Just discovered you today. I’ve been into succulent for 25 years,even before their popularity. After my first collection of cactus 30 years ago I stayed away from prickly plants for most part. This year I’m starting to gravitate toward cacti with all the varieties have a few of not special ones. I enjoyed you and you made me laugh I’ve to come and explore that nursery. I live in Burbank and I’m gonna watch more of your videos now.👏😊

I've got several cacti from Mimi and two of them just won their ribbons : first and second place here in Philly. That nursery is amazing. Some day I will take a trip there and drive a hundred cactuses to Philly😁

@@fotosynthelys6763, one Astrophytum Asterias from Mimi's won second place, Plant of the month. And my precious Astrophytum Fukuryu ( I think it's a beautiful hybrid) won first place, Plant of the month.
My prized possession, huge, old (over 40 y.o.) Astrophytum Myriostigma also won second place.
P.S. Again, it's my boss's face on my avatar. I really am a girl. But he likes cacti too😁
@@ricardogonzalez1894 , I don't mind spending money on stuff that makes me glow from the inside out. And cacti does that. I'd rather spend money on my cacti than clothes or some other material possessions. They have no value in my little black book🌵
What an awesome shop. Great video to watch, I would stay in that shop for over an hour. I just ordered some Coryphantha Elephantidens seeds to grow. That Coryphantha you got for your collection is a beauty. There are some definite wish list cacti in that store..

I've watched alot of videos where people take you along to different cacti/succulent nurseries and this by far was the best collection of cacti and euphorbia I've ever seen. Even the pots were some of the best I've seen. On a down side, I feel kinda sad now looking at all my ordinary common cacti that I've been collecting 😥

Just got a euphorbia abdelkuri demask.... Easily one of my favorites, but I saw the ball cactus and eyeing those now, looked up they are tephrocactua geometricis

Thanks for showing us around at MiMi’s nursery. Have ordered from her a couple times, wanted to visit one day! The plant which was shown at 13:20 is not an Euphorbia, it is Echinofossulocactus inermis a.k.a. Sperm Cactus .
