A showcase of all Unique weapons from Borderlands 3. This video focuses on the weapon sounds, the fire & reload animations, visual effects, and gameplay mechanics of every unique weapon from BL3.
Unique weapons in Borderlands 3 are any red-text weapons that are not Legendary. This video features 74 unique weapons from the game. 3 weapons couldn't be included in this showcase due to them being either bugged or unobtainable. I'll try to showcase them in the future, if possible.

3 other weapons couldn't be included in this showcase because they are either bugged or unobtainable. Their names are Digby's Smooth Tube (it doesn't make any sound when firing), Sheega's Launcher, and Short Stick (both couldn't be loaded into the game).

For all the flaws BL3 had, it at least still had unique and original weapons designs/reloads
What WERE its flaws as a fan?
@@thechubbyprotaganist The story (especially the characters) felt underwritten/insufferable at times, especially compared to Borderlands 2. Multiple framerate issues at launch (the cutscenes almost always ran choppy even compared to regular gameplay).
If Borderlands 2 and all its content (especially something like Tiny Tina's assault on Dragon's keep) wasn't as good as it was, BL3 wouldn't feel so underwhelming to me
I’m new here and I like what Im seeing, coming from Destiny and Halo.
Every time i play it, it crashes. On ps4 and 5. More so on 5
Bugs on Xbox go hard
Some of these guns are legitimately on par with or better than some legendaries in concept, it's a shame that so few of them are actually farmable and have proper dedicated drop sources. Ideally, GBX would adopt the way it's done in Wonderlands Redux, adding these guns to vending machines and the world drop pool (complete with their own loot beam color) after you unlock them initially.
I’m baffled. How did they develop so many unique weapons for one game?! It’s like the equivalent of 70 exotic weapons.
I know, right? and that's not all. There are even more 'legendary' weapons than unique! Oh, and legendary is the highest (orange) rarity in BL3. Similar to exotics in Destiny.

You should've saved the Earworm for in the end. I think that would've made a sick outtro.
I usually stick to showcasing stuff in the alphabetical order so viewers can easily find stuff to watch/rewatch, but that's a cool idea!

I wanted to keep these showcases clean and I'm more of a 'show, don't tell' kinda guy. In terms of the audiovisual experience, I think I showed off the mechanics in the 'gameplay' section for a lot of these guns. Things like how many projectiles it shoots, if it has variable fire-rate, AoE explosions, how it affects or enemies, etc.
But yeah, I didn't specify stuff like 'this gun heals you' or 'this does double damage on the third shot', etc. This channel is primarily about the art & sounds, not builds and stuff which are covered by numerous other channels :)
The gunplay and weapon variety looks so good in this game. I want to try it out especially since I like BL2 but I have heard bad things about rest of the game.
It's a fantastic game! The main campaign is annoying at times but that's about it. The QoL updates are really nice (there is now mantling, sliding and auto-pickup for everything including Eridium and ammo from boxes). The weapon variety is even crazier than BL2, as you can see in this video. The gunplay feels better as well. The environments are gorgeous (which you can check out in my BL3 environment showcase video). Oh, and the story stuff is way better in some of the DLC campaigns. Overall, it's certainly a great game, no doubt ^^
Give it a try! It can be annoying leveling, but endgame is so fun. My main complaint is there is ZERO incentive to play with others

What are the names in parentheses? COV? Vladof? Maliwan? Are they weapon foundries?
Weapon manufacturers. Each of them has unique attributes. e.g. Maliwan is almost always elemental, Jakobs is usually non-elemental, Hyperion weapons have shields when you ADS, Vladof is all about fire rate, COV weapons don't reload and instead break after extended firing, etc.
@Ultraclocked Watched back-to-back bl2/bl3 unics (from your videos). In my eyes, superiority of the latter is overstated.
If you discard texture quality and graphics in general, otherwise it would be apples to oranges comparison, and compare gimmicks, sounds, animations and animation sync - the weapons designs are mostly different, sometimes better, but NOT superior. Also the sell shading is done using different techniques so it's very hard to compare the art styles. It's very subjective.
As for the in-game feel it boiles down to personal preference too. What do you like more - feeling from shooting in UE3 or UE4? There are people that will prefer the older one no matter how many people like the newest one.
Yeah, BL3 is not necessarily better in every case. I still love both, and I like that they're different. It gives us another reason to go back to older games in the series. For instance, BL1 still has my favourite revolver feel, and BL2 Maliwan weapons are unmatched!
unique mean legendary rarity weapons or weapons with interesting animations?
Uniques in Borderlands 3 are special weapons that are _not_ legendary.
Non legendary weapons with red text
Nope unique gun is any gun with red text. Means any rarity can be unique gun, even white (that worst jakobs gun that we were scammed for in Bounty of blood)
It's sad the amount of hate this game gets,
I fully understand the story can be quite painful at times lol, but the general gameplay is just incredible, *almost* unmatched
I'd have enjoyed _Borderlands 3_ more if it weren't for the butchered story, vast amount of crappy/useless legendary items, and overall lack of replayability. That's just me, though.
