Ah, you're awake. LOL At home watching me instead of boat building hey? hehehe Thanks guys, I've been sanding epoxy fillets the last few days, not my favourite job. However, it is starting to look ok. cheers from me and the dog
Thanks for watching! Yes she is starting to really come together now. I have to make sure I don't rush the last bits. I'm ready for the water now. Cheers, Maple and me
Thanks Steven. Spring brings all sorts of weather, one day gorgeous and the next pouring with rain etc. At least it keeps me on my toes. Thanks for watching. Maple and the Captain (that's what the kids call me)
The Dragonfly continues to morph. Great job Steve, I can’t say it enough. She is a beautiful ship. Have you happened to calculate the amount of hours you have on her, just curious. Maple seems to be loving her new home, and she’s learning very well. Thank you for saving her. The little drum session was a treat, maybe a little electric guitar next time? See you next time. Take care 🤙
I am a huge admirer of the late great Buddy Rich. However, my background is in rock, indy pop, alternative type stuff. Did most of my live playing through 70s, 80s, 90s and some in the 2000s. I used to have a beautiful book on Buddy Rich, mostly photos and brief descriptions of when and where they ere taken. I hope I still have it tucked away somewhere. Should be on display in my little studio. Thanks for watching. Steve and the dog
Very good, things are looking great Steve. Just curious, does this ship need to be certified in anyway to obtain insurance for locks, marinas or harbors.
Good question. She requires a 'builders plate' for registration. I will be arranging that soon. I can do it, but there is a company who specialises inn that area and I am going to get them to do that for me.
@@steveshierdoesstuff7420 Thanks, I'm building a small house boat I can trailer around for weekenders and short vacations, a week or two tops through our extensive lock system on the Trent River. Cheers.
Good stuff Steve looking great
Thanks Blackbird
Keep on keeping on! Nice job
